My very close friend experienced same in their family. The father gifted the vehicle in his daughters name. Shortly after, the in-law was a faker and con artist. Very sad story

I have even been to wedding where the bride's father publicly handed the key to a house to his daughter as a gift. The sky didn't fall!

The couple have been waxing strong in that marriage till date... The husband has even built another house added to that one.

..if the groom already has a car he will not be brothered...if he does not have any car . both the man and the woman can be using the car..

Forget story I gifted my Sister a car on her wedding day. I did not do it publicly.

The names of both the Husband and the Wife (My sister) were on the receipt.

If the name of the lady is the only one on the car gift. They have effectually emasculated that man. Sentiments and emotions are real stuffs. Always be sensitive to them. I pray "it is my car, not yours' argument does not arise one day.

This is not proper from the brides family....if the groom has no car of his own presently, the marriage is dead on arrival.....there is a big difference between theory and reality..

Poor peeps get shipload of envy and entitlement… what’s wrong in getting a gift from family? It has saved the husband 10yrs of not buying a car for her or his family

They didn't present the couple ,they made it clear that the car is for the bride , she owns the car. It is obvious the bride family is the richer family
