Benefits of subsidy removal

God Bless President Bola Tinubu, he has done his part, revenue accruable to the three tiers have increased by 70%✓

It is now the responsibilities of the Governors to perform and stop making unnecessary excuses.

Citizens also should monitor their governors and call for accountability

From around a quarter of that two - three years ago. The govs will suppress the extra and take like half of it to forex market for conversion in preparation for capital flight.
Tinubu's strategy of spending to stimulate is hinged on what the governors do with their cash.

See Balyelsa N22.8bn, Delta N38bn. Wow!

But what are most Governors doing with such huge monthly allocations eh.

Only a few governors we can actually point to.

We truly need to hold our governors accoutable. Enough of focus at Centre

r58

PLEASE SOMEONE SHOULD TELL THEM NOT TO GO BUY DOLLARS WITH THEIR ALLOCATIONS.

THEY ARE FOND OF PUTTING PRESSURE ON THE NAIRA/DOLLAR VALUE AFTER EVERY FAAC EXERCISE.

IT IS ANNOYING.

THEY SHOULD STOP CONIVING WITH BANKS AND PUTTING PRESSURE ON THE NAIRA.

KEEP YOUR NAIRA AND SPEND YOUR NAIRA.

Before the end of the week naira will crash again, because 50% of the funds will be looted and change into dollars and pounds and stashed thereby causing scarcity. Governors are the problem of this country.

This, right here, made Nigerian governors the dumbest politicians in world. This feeding bottle system has to stop!

Restructure this country. Every state or region should start controlling their resources and start paying taxes to the centre.

Everyday they would be looking for news about Tinubu. Tinubu has increased their state's allocations, while their Governors are stealing away their future.

You wonder what Bayelsa has been doing with huge sum on a monthly basis. Nothing should stop the small state from being the Dubai of Nigeria.

The only industry in Bayelsa is politics

Ogun state receives one of the lowest in the country. Yet pays so much in VAT.
The sharing formula is a scam.

BTW, the South south states of Akwa Ibom, Delta, Bayelsa and Rivers are cashing out big big. I hope they hold their Governors to account.

But 1 billion naira is not much ooh.

1 billion is actually 1 million naira in 1000 places.
This is actually small considering the current economic situation and population of each state.
