Gunfire and blaze at Moscow concert hall, reports say

Deaths and injuries have been reported after a gun attack at a concert hall near Moscow, Russian media say.

At least three people dressed in camouflage opened fire leaving people wounded at the Crocus City Hall, Russian news agencies reported.

Video obtained by Reuters news agency shows a large blaze and smoke rising from the hall.

Police are at the scene, reports Russia's state news agency RIA, adding that gunmen started a fire in the building.

Earlier this evening a number of armed men in camouflage burst into the Crocus City Hall just before a pop concert and began shooting.

The hall was packed with visitors and mobile phone footage shows scenes of chaos.

There are no official figures yet as to how many people have been killed but there are reports of at least 12 people killed.

The building is on fire - possibly a third of the building - and we believe dozens of people may be trapped inside the building.

There are also reports that a number of the gunmen may have barricaded themselves inside the building, so this is still going on.

Obviously this is a very serious situation with Russian special forces deployed to the scene, as well as 50 ambulances. This suggests the authorities fear the casualty toll could be quite high.

Let's see how it goes. Here is a warning from the US embassy few weeks back regarding an attack but it seem the FSB didn't take it serious. .

This look like an attack from a TERRORIST group.

losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are “counted in millions, not hundreds of thousands.”The former chief of the general staff of the Polish army, General Raimund Andrzejczak, told the Polsat television channel.

“I believe that Ukrainian losses should be counted in millions, not hundreds of thousands. There are no reserves in this country, no one to fight with. Ukraine is losing this war. The situation is very, very dramatic,” he said.

No matter what Ukraine will pay in blood.
