Paraman: If I may help with that, the country is exporting almost nothing apart from fuel. Even the petroleum products are being stolen! Let a serious government start by working on just two things, power and security, and the bulk of this mess would be resolved. Other amenities like good road networks may follow those two. It's when people produce that they can "export" and bring in foreign currency. Nigerians are even still clamouring for food importation despite all that God has endowed us with in this country - in part due to poor security and below-par power supply. It is unsustainable to keep on pumping foreign currency into the market without it being used for productive activities. The funds could still end up with the same hoarders or another set. |

Paraman: See kettle calling the pot black! If your claim is true, why is foreign currency scarce? Why are multinationals leaving the country? You are probably one of those party agents. Otherwise, you'd provide supporting data when countering a point. |
