Onyedika is one of the major reasons I wanted Jpez gone. You can’t have such a Register in your team and keep him on the bench only to play your most creative midfielder as a DM

One thing I will praise Finidi for is trying out the least tested players.

Tarzan guy should def not be a starter. He has potential though .

this logic doesn't hold water, has SA not beaten Nigeria in their home before ? Friendlies are different from competitive fixtures. You should know that.

our midfielder is more than decent and above average in my rating

The trio of iwobi, Onyeka and ndidi then with back up/cover like Yusuf, onyedika, fisayo we re good to go
Iwobi and fisayo aren't central midfielders but attackers. As for other midfielders, if Nigeria are hoping to do well at the world cup for example, a lot need to improve in the midfield. I mean look at the afcon where Nigeria had the defenders to thank for most of the matches, aside the forwards at times? Have Nigeria really done well in the last recent world cup matches sef?

The only person he can displace in that team is Onuachu. He failed to take his chances today.

I thought Nacho giving up the penalty for him to play would do his confidence any good, but it didn't.
