Dat's why most of our Kids/Teenagers these Days are very LAZY and empty.

They Only know how to do Tiktok videos, skits and watch porn in their phones.

Never really got the swing right for grass cutting! And always ended up getting blisters on my hand! One friend or the other always ended up doing my own portion.....either that, or i found a convenient excuse to leave the school premises at the right time!

Normal in Federal Unity schools those days. If u miss it , ur own don finish be DAT. Especially Saturday inspection. I was always scared of Saturdays that year. Floggings steady

We cut grass in my sec school. From jss1 to ss3 in the 1990's NNSS. The commandant will even tell your own father to buy the hoe, rake and cutlass and keep for you prior to resumption day.

You must cut grass until you're about to write waec even if dem born you well dem no born ya papa well so him own cancel your own.

They will even give us plot to clear and plant on.

Then i always give excuses about my health.. Seniors go free me

Yes BOSS.....I kind of have a way of avoiding this manual labour period but I later found out that some of my colleagues always find it interesting.....like they prefer cutting grass than been the class learning

I see nothing wrong we it. We deh cut grass with joy. If you are fast enough to finish before others at that time, we go get enough free time to do whatsoever we like. Because that day no lecture would take place again one we have received the morning lectures. This is far back in the 90s at Ngala Primary Sch, and Ika Boys Secondary school in Delta State.
