this same protest over high tax by the government was made not quite long by marketers in ariaria and other parts of abia state .
Are you saying because they are in Ilorin they should not also protest high tax?
Why bringing tribal hatred to this?

Why are you guys filled with pain and hatred like this?

I hate quarter cleverness. Are the Igbo the only non indigenes that their tax was raised in Kwara state?

Don't derail this time

They are and that's why they embarked on the protest

Again, that mentality is only in your head. What's the total worth of Igbo's investment in Kwara state? I do no think it's up to one Alhaji cow business in Kwara state.

from the news a particular market with igbo marketers in majority was targeted and you are here talking of derailing thread.
Are igbo's no longer part of one Nigeria so why casting aspersions that they don't have rights to complain.

Okay. How come of all the tribes in Nigeria which are over 200+ , it's only Igbo people they always target, not only in Nigeria, even Ghana, South Africa, India e.t.c

Why always Igbo? That's the question you guys are not asking yourself

Your ear antenna only stands when you hear the igbo business men complain because in your warped mind the igbo's are gaining more and shouldn't be complaining.

How much is one full grown cow, if you have 1,000 of them, how much do you think that would worth?

Imagine if you eventually become the president of Nigeria, only God knows the kind of policies you will come up with just to teach the Igbos a bitter lesson.
If truely you are a Nigerian, I fear for those trusting people from other regions.

It's worth noting compared to an importer and besides, those cows are no rared in ranches instead the herders carry arms around, destroying farm produce and killing the farmers.

Have Igbo's only been complaining about little things in Nigeria? How about Ghana, South Africa, India..

How come it's only Igbo having issue with their host out of 200+ tribes. Except if you are saying all those people just hate you for no reason

Why it looks like the Igbos, it's mostly because the Igbos are very vocal.
Just use the Niger Delta for example, they are very docile and don't make noise that why their mineral resources are exploited.
What I have noticed, the elites and those who try to control people prefer a situation everyone keeps quiet.
Another example, is the middle belt, with all the killings they are not even making noise on social media. Those kind of killings can't happen in the east without the Ignis disturbing the cyberspace or even crying to international bodies.

like I said before your hatred for igbo's makes your antenna reception notice the yearnings of the igbo.
Logically it is impossible for only igbo men to be complaining about taxes that affects their business if not people and businesses all over the world will not be yearning for change of government.
With this your statement I can draw conclusion that the igbo torments you physically and spiritually and it is a very pathetic situation.Ndo

This is not about being vocal but over doing things.

To start with, why are they complaining if they are not the only non indigenes in Kwara state?

Secondly, if they sense the Kwara taxation won't favour them, why can't they relocate their business to where they won't be taxed at all?

Must some Igbo traders always raise alarm where there shouldn't have?

It's not that easy to relocate after years of investment.
Igbos are very brave and vocal, you know that for sure.
Normally due to our funny culture of submission, a lot of people don't talk. And that's why our politicians do anyhow.
The government should settle with them amicably. After all, the traders contribute to the development of the state.
Taxation is a good thing. Firstly, the government should have a list of all residents in the state and they should be taxed accordingly too.
The problem, is that most of the monies realized from taxation are usually embezzled.

Then tolerance should be applied bro .

It can't just be only Igbo business people complaining everywhere. How are others able to cope that they can't?

Kwara is called state of Harmony for a reason.

Anyone that can come to kwara and cause trouble.....is a "certified troublemaker"

Kwara people live in peace regardless of tribe, religion or creed.

Sharrap your mouth.

If your tribesmen or other tribes feel cheated, they have the right to complain or not.

You are not in any position to tell an Igbo man how to react to things affecting him or his business.

You're not the governor of Kwara state that the complaint was sent to. So go and take several seats. Hatred filled heart.
