It's not really poverty per se. It's strange that u will just wake up one moring and request for DNA for a child u were in the labour room when he/she was delivered and Ur wife never gave u reason to doubt her Fidelity.

Most of the the people who go for DNA do so either because they caught their wife cheating, they smell a fish, they needed to travel out on family visa or the child suffers a rare disease that neither in the father or the mother's family ( Like the guy that trended last week who was AA, wife AS and son SS)

It is the advent of technology and social media that makes cheating spouses easy to find out now. U can see a strange text, whatsapp number, strange phone call etc and u can start snooping around from there.

During our parent's time, a woman can tell the husband she's going to spend a week at her parent's village only for her to spend 5 days in a man's house and just 2 days in her parents house. There's no how the husband will find out... If the sexx she has at the man's place turn out to be a pregnancy there's no way the husband will suspect the baby is not his since they are married and they get intimate regularly.

So far the wife didn't inform the other man about the pregnancy, he won't even know and her husband who didn't catch her cheating will assume he's the father.

See ehn, the same way a guy who is married or in a relationship has sex with another woman not his wife or fiance, is the same way some women cheat too with other guys. It's a possibility that if u have a one-night stand with a woman it may result to preganacy but u don't know cos u blocked her on all social media and phone after the sexx.

That same way some ladies cheat and within a matter of days have sexx with their spouse. So far the spouse never suspected or caught her cheating the resulting pregnancy will be a thing of joy.

Cheating can go either ways. E just be say na man e dey pain pass when the consequence later fall out.
