Russia’s Oil Is Finally Getting Snarled by Sanctions

State-run Sovcomflot’s tankers rejected by all Indian refiners

Dozens of sanctioned vessels have failed to load cargoes

Indian oil refiners — Moscow’s second-biggest customers after China since the 2022 invasion — will no longer accept tankers owned by state-run Sovcomflot PJSC because of the risk posed by sanctions

Sanctions don't work they said but also please stop them...

Muslims need to do more. Y'all can't keep shouting religion of peace everywhere when we see the opposite. Extremism, threats and violence now seems to be the order of the day with Muslims across the globe. I wonder what your leaders are doing about it.

The fact that the Quran can be used to justify killing innocent people is absolutely flabbergasting and with my own personal experience, I don't even feel safe with any non-Yoruba practising muslim as an irreligious person (and that excludes Yoruba muslims from Illorin). You wouldn't even pay me to live in the North.

I believe the payment was for additional motivation. Those guys were already set for martyrdom, the money was either to engage themselves in some pleasures before death or to take care of their family. Nobody expected they would be captured alive.

You've made a valid point, extremism is not limited to Islam alone, all the holy books have been used to perpetrate all sorts of atrocities.
There's no disputing that Muslims carry out the most terrorist attack in the current generation, it's heart wrenching to admit but it's what it is.

I do not mince words. Quote me anyday, anytime.

As long as 'Ukrainians' or Ukraine as a territory exist. They'll always pose a threat to Russia.. NATO will make sure of that.

More and more Russians would die fighting forever or through terrorist attacks like the recent one.

It doesn't matter how many troops or military facilities you destroy.

Russia has only 2 options. Take control of the entire Ukraine or reduce everyone and everything in it to a pile of rubbles.

Option 1 would be a smarter option. That way they don't have to rebuild it from scratch.
what you say is true, ukraine must be reduced to rubbles just like Gaza and every other nations the west has bombed

He isn't advocating for it. Russia took -- and is taking -- extensive measures to prevent Ukrainian civilians casualties.

Despite the massive use of artillery and missiles, Ukrainian civilians casualties remains low.

Meanwhile, Ukraine on the other hand, has been targeting Ukrainian civilians before Feb 2022 and after that, has been targeting Russian and former Ukrainian civilians (now Russian) civilians.

Once Ukraine begins losing on the battlefield, it's next like of action is to begin firing missiles and artillery into markets, homes, and public buildings.

Which other country has done that?

The US, in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam. Israel, in Gaza and the West Bank.

Now, you know who Ukraine has been taking instructions from.

honestly that has always been Ukraine tactics they always resort to senseless terrorist act once Russia deals a big blow to them

Ukraine have always wanted to leave Soviet Russia from centuries it not a 2014 problem

Ukraine initially joined Hitler against Russia and Hitler turned them into slaves then they saw that Russia was better than Hitler and they switched sides to Soviet union

But the western side of Ukraine continued with Hitler colabo until Hitler fell

Ukraine just wants to do what USA did to England USA fought England to the teeth and got independence from the crown

I would rather we concentrate on when both countries were on their own and not when survival of the fittest was in vogue then. We have enemies during WW1 and WW2 that are now friends.

As long as both weren't enemies between 1990 and 2014, I believe it's a matter of getting rid of the leadership and then putting a serious grip on external interference on Ukraine thereafter.

@seunny4lif I don't think it makes sense for use to create our own swift yet, I think what we need in Africa is first to free ourselves from the chains of the west, some crazy partnership has to end. Then second is borderless states and one currency (preferable gold) just like Europe.
But we all know what happened to the person that tried to do this. But on the other hand let's see how the newly formed Sahel state will work even though they are not as rich in natural resources as others and has no sea access they can be an agriculture powerhouse, I truly hope their partnership with Russia can work

Unaliving the leaders is enough to change the narratives.

Remember that prior to 2014, Ukraine was never an issue to Russia.

What changed?

Willing leadership as puppets to the Western world.
Factos! Russia had issues with Georgia when they had a western backed clown who was brought to power through a western backed coup as a leader https://www.theguardian.com/world/2004/nov/26/ukraine.usa
This clown attacked Russian minority regions in Georgia and started the war in 2008, Despite the war of 2008 with Georgia, Georgian leadership today have refused to sanction Russia or carry out hostile activities against Russia (opening second front through Ukraine's request), and they aren't even running Helter skelter for NATO membership like Sweden and Finland. Leadership determines the foreign policy and orientation of a country, take Slovakia as a perfect example, how their foreign policy towards Russia reversed after the clowns left. The reason why the small, irrelevant Baltic Chihuahuas and the rest are this hostile to Russia also has a lot to do with their leadership, trust me, there are politicians in those countries who don't mind having a good and friendly Relations with their Russian neighbor. That's why before engaging in any proxy war against your adversary, you need to meddle in the political affairs of the neighbouring countries (to create an agglomeration of hostile leaders who would be used as a battering ram against that adversary) and create a perfect re-orientation of the citizens through the media (for instance the Japanese populace seeing China as the biggest threat to them than US that nuked them during WW2 according to new study). If you've been following the events and US meddling in countries surrounding China, you'd understand that this same tactic is being implemented against China.

About the combined strike of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Sevastopol and Crimea.

The very next day after the terrorist attack in Moscow, Ukrainian formations carried out a massive combined attack on the Crimean Peninsula, in which at least 12 tactical aircraft were involved.

Nine aircraft (presumably Su-24M and Su-27) took off from Starokonstantinov, two MiG-29 from the Uman airfield and another Su-27 from Mirgorod. After reaching the line in Zatoka , Novaya Odessa and Snigirevka, Storm Shadow/SCALP, ADM-160 and Neptune missiles were launched.

Sevastopol was subjected to the most large-scale attack. Two missiles tried to hit the warship parking lot. The targets were shot down, but debris fell in the area of the pier in Sevastopol Bay; no serious damage was recorded.

The use of SCALP cruise missiles was noted at the ship repair yard. The warhead of one of the missiles did not fire, and the second hit the pier. There is currently no data on the nature of the damage, but the absence of any smoke may indicate that the fire was quickly localized.

⚡The Russian MiG-31 prevented US Air Force aircraft from violating the border over the Barents Sea - Russian Defense Ministry.

The crew of the Russian fighter identified the air target approaching the state border as a pair of US Air Force B-1B strategic bombers.

As the Russian plane approached, the American planes adjusted their flight course, moving away and then turning around; no violation of the Russian border was allowed, the Russian Ministry of Defense clarified.

They have been doing this since 2014 and it got worse in 2022.

After losing battles to the smaller and less powerful DPR and LPR, Ukraine started firing artillery directly at Western Ukrainian civilians.

Now, Ukraine fires missiles and artillery directly into markets in Russia.

When Ukraine becomes desperate, it invades Belgorod.

And when Ukraine becomes very desperate, it sends Ukrainian soldiers disguised as ISIS to murder innocent civilians attending concerts in Moscow.

Muslims carry out more terrorist attacks against who?

We all saw how ISIS sprung up in, and invaded Iraq and Syria, which are considered Muslim countries.

Iran and Hezbollah, a Muslim country and a Muslim organization, stood up to ISIS before Russia, a Christian nation with considerable Muslim population and autonomous regions, joined in the fight.

Meanwhile, the US and Israel continued bombing Syrian and Iranian forces fighting against ISIS.

Iran, Russia, and Syria won against ISIS only for Suleimani, the Iranian Republican Guards commander who led the Iranians to defeat ISIS to be murdered by who?

The United States.

The same ISIS who were defeated were later returned to their units, which happened to be the so-called "pro democracy" fighters fighting against Syria.

So, how come ISIS is always attacking those who stand up against the US, irrespective of whether they are Muslims or Christians?

Meanwhile, the same ISIS has never attacked the US, Israel, Japan, Australia, Europe, Saudi Arabia and all -- basically, everyone on the side ot the US.

But it has attacked Syria, Iran, Russia, Afghanistan and even groups like Hezbollah and the Taliban, basically, everyone the US hates.

The US, Israel, and the CIA are ISIS.

❗️Xu Jijun:

On March 22nd, in an interview with the media, the Press Secretary of the Russian President, Peskov, stated that with the active involvement of the West in the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, the so-called special military operation had de facto escalated into a "war."
Since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in 2022, Russia has consistently insisted that a "special military operation" is being conducted in Ukraine. However, Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin, have now begun gradually to use the word to describe the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
This indicates an escalation in the scale of the war. Since March, Russia has started targeting military and industrial objectives across Ukraine, signalling the beginning of a new stage of confrontation between Russia and the West in Ukraine.
It can confidently be said that the terrorist attack on the "Crocus" concert hall has closed the chapter on the Russo-Ukraini...

🇷🇺 Moscow has proved to the whole world that the Western global order has been "irreversibly altered"

Today, it is safe to say that the Western campaign to punish Russia "has failed to result in Moscow’s international ostracization, and instead served to accelerate the geopolitical reorientation of the non-transatlantic world," writes The American Conservative. Russia may be only one of the centres of power in the emerging alternative to Western hegemony, but it was the first to demonstrate to the rest of the world that a break with the old world order was not only possible, but necessary for the country's development.

For decades, the U.S. has constantly challenged Moscow in a position either to accept the fait accompli of NATO's expansion at the expense of Russian security interests or to escalate with forc...

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are faced with a growing shortage of human resources - The Wall Street Journal

▪️Ukraine desperately needs new troops to hold off massive Russian offensives.
▪️A bill aimed at expanding conscription in Ukraine is stuck in the country's parliament after several months of debate. A significant part of the population does not want to fight.
▪️Last year’s failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive undermined Ukrainians’ confidence that they could recapture territory and depleted human resources.

But Zelensky told us only 31,000 KIA since Feb 22

Bros you need to understand something

Islam is not a turn the other cheek religion, an eye for an eye is permitted in Islam, even though it's stated that forgiveness is better

Even if isis was truly behind the attack, isis even in Nigeria here are nothing more than a pariah...moreover, isis has its own beef with Russia over the war in Syria and elsewhere

Let me tell you the real terrorism. The real terrorism is State terrorism, that's why the US can sanction countries for rejecting lgbt, the US can impose sanctions on Iran, Iraq (which killed more than 500,000 children), invade Iraq based on a lie which led to the deaths of more than a million Iraqis, it's why almost a hundred years of Isreali State terrorism on the Palestinians is condoned and a Palestinian response is reviled

Just like terror groups do it under the flag of 'Islam', the US and 'powerful' countries do it under different flags, be it democracy, secular liberalism, 'human rights' etc. There's no difference and State terrorism is even worse because the devastation and deaths is usually 100times more than some insignificant terror group

I personally don't care what you think of Islam or muslims, unjust killing is bad whether committed in the name of Islam, democracy, human rights, secular liberalism, racism, jewish exceptionalism or whatever

My brother, I like being friends and discussing with people like you.

People that like to question why 2+2 is 4 and now 22.
People don't question popular option(s)
People that are not quick follow the crowd.

See, what the US is good at is recruiting members to join their bully Gang and are most times paranoid when a mysterious country doesn't want to join them and at the same time standing alone unbothered.

Russia is like that guy in class that doesn't make friends easii, sits in a corner observing activities going on in class.

Rarely look for trouble but ready to deal with you and fight to the death when threatened.

Russia is like that guy in class who sometimes come to the rescue of the bullied that the bullies gangs up against.
The US remains a country led by paranoids as leaders. Those who constantly fear that the same knife they have used to cut other people's heads may likely be used on them, so they start suspecting everyone and scheme means to see how to cut down those they believe are capable of doing such.

The same way they have been trying to encircle Russia using neighbouring countries through puppet leaders is the same thing they're trying to do to China.

You know why I love history? It tells us that no one stands on top forever.

I am so happy that they ganged up against are coming to terms and are now trying to work together

From economic cooperation (BRICS), we'll see Military cooperation.

With the above, we'll see less war and less exploitations in the world.

I think fallen angels migrated to the US, they keep acting like demons.
