This was the bailout fund during the first term of the Buhari administration and not recent... Most of them have even repaid back. The writer should have stipulated the time it was borrowed and not this |

We forget things easily... State Governments were unable to pay salaries between 2015-2023 ....they were banking on paltry FAAC and FGN -CBN interventions through borrowing.. Now, subsidy is removed and their FAAC allocation increased by over ,60% ...Non of them is borrowing to pay salaries now.. ..and yet, some of us are criticising the government for removal of subsidy Although, there are still loads of things to be done, especially on alleviating the sufferings we masses are going through because of subsidy removal....the Nation would have collapsed if the subsidy was not removed. 2 Likes |

Does it means the governors lack understanding on how generate revenue from the state? Or the revenue generated from the state are going into individual private pockets in the government. Can't this listed state governors design incentives programs to better the welfare of the state where they generate enough incomes. What do they do with the tax payers money both direct and indirect tax? How do they manage the allocations of their local government from the federal government? It is time we let go off sentiments in terms of religion, ethnic and parties. Then vote for competency, good administrator and so on. |
