The issue why Nigeria can never give birth to this kind of a President is simply because Presidency in Nigeria is purely by selection and by selection, the only category of people fit to be President of Nigeria are people that,

1)..People withing that circle of corruption and bribery ...

Election anywhere on earth is Selection including this one in Senegal. What happened to Goodluck and Obi is betrayal and abandonment by many top players in the political background. But if you have some of their support from those camps you can make it at any age

What happened in this Senegal case is similar to Obama or Macron case. It can be described as a case someone like Atiku sponsoring upcomer like Prof Imolumen instead of contesting himself. It was the same way Tinubu was our VP through Osibanjo but, the problem here is they have vowed like Mugabe to rather have their dead bodies on seat as president instead of sponsoring or allowing anybody younger. Even manageable 50-60s like Peter Obi and Goodluck Jonathan is not ripe enough for them in Nigeria.
