His excellency the Gov of Niger State mohammed Bago said that 100 of the vehicles when delivered would be put on the Suleja-Abuja routes, 50 to be used in Minna, the state capital while the remaining 50 would be distributed to other local government areas. The governor should first expand the roads before bringing buses that will be difficult to drive on those narrow roads.

At it stands now the way nigeria roads are designed these buses can't function well. It will create further traffic problems.

How do you expect these buses to comfortably ply a place like suleja without creating traffic gridlock undecided

The truth is bitter. How many Nigeria roads are designed for this kind of buses?

How do you expect this of bus to move side by side with smaller vehicles, keke, and trucks? Go to niger state and see things yourself.

Which roads will the busses drive on, is it the dilapidated suleja minna road that he wants to put 100 busses, or the abandoned roads from minna to other LGAs.
He should concentrate on agriculture and then roads to transport the products rather than goose chase busses that will break down in 3 months with the present state of roads in Niger state.

If I be Nigerian leader, I go just dey do anything I like, because nothing anyone does ever looks good in the eyes of Nigerians.
Despite the headline saying construction of about 500KM of road is on the way and this same guy has been doing dangerously great in agriculture you are still her faulting him.
Una be plague

We are not criticising him we are stating the obvious, he is doing wonderfully well in agriculture, it should materialise and be strengthen.
Regarding the roads, am sure you saw the misleading information awards N565KM roads, is the N565 monetary value or distance in KM

Mr. Governor should not also forget to roll out independent maintenance team - that would be held responsible if any of the buses falls out of shape.

And you think these extensions/ expansions are not underway? Why criticise unconstructively and blindly? When was the last time you visited Minna?

We have Innoson CNG but they prefer to source for dollar and use it to import from China yet they want economy to grow.
Re: Niger State Acquires 200 CNG Buses (Video, Pictures) by Energist: 5:47am On Mar 27, 2024
Gazuzz don hammer o. Lol. Congratulations. For me, I think 200 buses is way too much to start. For sustainability, the project should have started with a few buses as pilot test on the most viable routes. As it stands today, there's no CNG supply in the whole of Niger. So even refuelling might be an issue.

INNOSON motors are substandard. Peugeot does not make Busses. That's why he settled for foreign made trucks

Why didn't he buy from Innoson?

So maintenance and parts availability wouldn't be an issue.

If care is not taken, after the administration of Mohammed Bago, those buses might park up.

Don't mind him. Even though I don't like APC as a party but when it comes to performance, this man try. I am based in minna and I can see his works with my physical eyes and the man touches all sector from Agriculture to construction and other infrastructures
