You might be right. Even Neymar alone might funnel funds through Memphis. Neymar's past history makes it difficult for him to stand front and center.
There was a report about Neymar's father moving to pay the bail so I'm really surprised about this update saying Memphis paid. 1 million euros is heavy for a footballer not in the top 10 earners in Europe to just pay out of his pocket considering the fact they're paying taxes out of their weekly wages.

He should not only sack him, but also look into those at the ministry who advised the commissioner to okay the project. It's definitely a racket they run over there.

The worst mistake they made after what they did is allowing themselves to be caught alive.. Russians don't play at all.
Russians don't play at all yet they ignored the information brought to them about an imminent terrorist attack by the U.S. Whatever useless torture they are going to carry out won't bring back the 115 dead people. This attack just exposes Russia as a weakling.

I think it's the rebel part. I remember Memphis impassioned speech after Benjamin Mendy got acquitted. Memphis is a "campaigner" on this matter, but €1m for someone he barely knows like that shows a fool easily parted with his money.

I just finish Tyson, Ali and Joe Frazier autobiographies and in all cases, you can see how these guys ended up broke. No discipline with money at all. Moving on to Roberto Duran who suffered the same fate.
What app is this?

Recent data doesn't support a lot of the FX doomsday hypothesis up there, so I wonder where all the weak Naira posit is coming from.

In hindsight, I would wager that the move to domicile NNPCL revenue is probably a good one and serving its purpose. Even to the point where CBN is intervening in the retail window. Also there's the Eurobond talks and coming in soon

I'm more interested in the long term play though but in the short term, I don't see what you guys see. Anyone who wants to short the Naira however should do so with his risk managed and or be ready to play the very long game

Recently Kingsley Moghalu said there's no magic the CBN can do to bring the dollar down against the Naira but to borrow. This is what they just did.

Nigeria borrow 1.1 trillion Naira about 700+ dollars through the selling of bonds. For now there's dollars in the system but we don't know how long it will be sustained.

That someone serves as a window into the minds of northerners on this matter.

I think at their core, the northerners, particularly their leaders think government is a lootinum and that they too should be entitled to their 'share' of amnesty largesse in the name of national character.

Point of correction on doubt. Doubt is an understatement. I know for a certain the list is fake and audio.

Shay the names na for decoration. If those names are known people, there should be pictures and they should start making arrest.

As in..... Dem just wan force the amnesty by fire by force. They don't care whether Buhari has already dragged Nigeria into serious debts with some of his borrowing expended on useless projects like that Mararadi rail line while he was on power.

They still want to zap more from the treasury in form of amnesty irrespective of whether Naija is broke or not

Annual inflation is at 30%.
Also, there are folks who ordered goods at 1700 and are yet to clear the container.
You'd not expect those folks to sell at 1300 rate.
There are also businesses that had been making huge FX losses and are understandably not in a hurry to slash prices.

There has been a marginal drop in the prices of some goods.
It'll take about a quarter for the impact to be felt across the board.

In any case, Cardoso has declared a nationwide 30% discount on everything.
Knowing Nigeria's rabid appetite for all things foreign, dude is writing a check that the CBN can't cash.
The reserves has resumed its inevitable fall. It's only been one week.
https://www.cbn.gov.ng/IntOps/Reserve.asp

The buy signal is when Cardoso takes a victory lap.
We'll still get to >2000. This is a detour.
I really do hope we get to 800. The lower the better. It'll make the alpha sumptuous.

In the meantime, if you earn in dollars (like I do) and are about to brace an up to 40% (if not more) drop in earnings in naira terms, (Ouch!) you'll have to dig in, brace for impact, and defer in-country capital expenditures until prices reflect the FX drop or rates crash again; whichever comes first.
Everyone else should enjoy the cheap $ while stock lasts.

If someone says something that you agree on even though you don't like that person. Does it mean you are stanning the person?

Most people don't like Putin but they love what Putin did to those terrorists. Does it mean they are fan of Putin.

The fact that I don't love someone doesn't mean I might not agree to some of his takes.

Have I ever called for amnesty for bandits?

Have I ever said government should negotiate with terrorists?

The fact that you guys like lying against me is what I don't understand.

We don't want any negotiation. We want them killed,

We don't want any amnesty. We want them killed.

Gumi has been at the forefront of agitating for the "right to trade" of bandits , no be today. He has always wanted the bandits and terrorists to be given recognition by the government despite the fact that all they've done is cause pain and anguish to their victims.

He keeps making a case for them like they are not private citizens who chose to take up arms against their own country and countrymen over nothing. He claims they are neglected and abandoned; by who ?

Is it federal government that will educate them? Don't they have governors whose duty is it to provide at least universal basic education for them up to secondary school like they do down south? Na everything FG must do for una?

I think the 3 of them were arrested doing Buhari tenure.

One of them is Takur Mamu, the negotiator of kaduna train hostage situation who was arrested in Egypt for being one of the sponsors of the attack.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/552702-breaking-kaduna-train-hostage-negotiator-arrested-in-egypt.html?tztc=1

I'm trying to get more information of the other 2 that was arrested.

It's not compulsory you believe the list though.
