Theres a kidnap case that happened in my area with a korope, some people suspected the korope because it wasn't familiar in the area and it was calling a route that we barely see Korope to, na so them descend on them.

Down south, kidnapping in large amount like that will be difficult to pull off.

I hope you are right but I think you are looking at things through the lens of today. The general breakdown of law and order I am seeing in Nigeria might ultimately change things in the future.

Nobody living in Northern Nigeria in the early 2000s could have predicted how bad things would get within 15-20 years. I can’t imagine the outlook and mindset of the kids being born today into a world where banditry is the norm.
