The real problem that threatened the existence, peace, food security and human life of Nigerians are the fulani bandits whom have taken over from bokoharam.

IPOB is just a movement that says they need a country.

NFIU sounds like a political unit under APC. The dumb propaganda of linking IPOB with Bolo Haram is laughable. Why didn't they trace the over 400 names released by Qatar/Dubai to Nigeria as terrorists sponsors?

It seems the recent upsurge in kidnapping and killings by fulani bandits is becoming too embarrassing for the hypocrites, and they want to say after all everyone is doing it, that's why they roped in ipob in this busllhit report, shameless people.

This 24-year-old from Nigeria’s North-Central region received over N350,000 in his betting wallet, believed to be ransom money from a kidnapping,” the NFIU said.

Ordinary 350k

You people are not serious. Ransom is being paid in hundreds of millions of naira and some of the bandits are even flaunting it on tiktok and you are here saying this rubbish. They better not touch this betting thing oo

FreeStuffsNG:
The NFIU further urged law enforcement agencies to investigate transactions by individuals linked to known terrorists or financiers; unauthorised tax collection or forced donations in terrorism-prone areas, and Bureau de Change operators facilitating transfers within suspected networks.

The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) is one of the most underrated of all these agencies in the financial intelligence circle.

Most people can easily point to EFCC, NDIC, CBN,ICPC etc but hardly do they remember that most of the credit for tracking and flagging suspicious transactions goes to the NFIU. NFIU must monitor all the funds moved through all crypto transactions that emanate from or terminate in Nigeria

The proliferation of online betting platforms is particularly alarming. NFIU is really trying a lot to catch these guys.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

but during the week, the federal government and kaduna state government gifted bandits/terrorists millions of naira in cash as ransom to continue their trade.

are bandits now receiving funding from the government?

why is the NFIU not trying to catch the bandits?

with all the NIN, why is the NCC, DSS, Police and military not trying to catch these guys?

See how they’re preoccupied with a secessionist group they like to claim is a ‘ineffectual fraud’ with ‘delusions’ of freeing themselves from the gulag Nigeria has become!

The OP, who thrives on trying to cast IPOB and Mazi Kanu in a negative light, pretends not to know IPOB have been receiving donations from well-wishers for years….more than a decade now! Lemme quickly go and donate to them sef!

Immediately I saw bandits display weapons all over social media, I knew Nairaland will send another IPOB news to the front page to divert attention. Even the title has IPOB first before Bandit

We are smarter than all these gimmicks, the sequencing is getting very obvious.

The agbadorian regime mentioned bandits but all they did is whine about IPOB's financial activities. Bandits are no where to be found in the article grin
Anyway, the fact that IPOB are even doing business with ease in other countries like America and Europe shows the organization is not a threat. Can we say the same for terrorists up north responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths since time immemorial
The agbado regime is just ashamed and pained about the negative publicity of bandits (TikTok cash display by terrorists) so they had to concoct rubbish to taint IPOB's image. grin grin grin

A govt paying ransom to bandits is that one a govt The bandits are even displaying their cash on TikTok grin
What a rotten regime.

It’s becoming clearer by the day that the Nigerian gov’t fear IPOB and Mazi Kanu even more than they do the terrorists, bandits, kidnappers and herdsmen (many of whom are foreigners) operating with brazen temerity all over Nigeria!

Your mistake is you don't know who you are quoting, his joy is that ipob is mentioned in that useless report, bandits can kill and maim as much as they want, he doesn't care, that's what tribalism has done to him.
