Actress Habibat Jinad has recalled an ugly incident with senior colleague, Mide Martins.
Habibat, in an interview with Biola Bayo on her talk show, Talk To B, recounted how Mide Martins insulted her skin color on a movie set.

According to her, they were on the set of Mide’s husband, Afeez Owo’s movie set, when a colleague did something wrong and she was punished for it.

She alleged that Mide Martins insulted her with the skin colour in the presence of everyone and said her face was as dark as a monkey’s.

Habibat stated that the words from Mide Martins touched her so much that she contemplated bleaching her skin.

“At a rehearsal ground at Afeez Owo’s set, something happened, a colleague of mine did something and I wasn’t the one who did that thing and they said we should kneel.

Mrs Mide Martins was there, my boss was there and some other people and Mide Martins compared it to a monkey’s skin. And it got to me. She even complained about my skin, saying I was too dark and this made me contemplate bleaching my skin to please her and others she stated.

Black don't crack. A bleached skin is very irritating, if you are not naturally lightskin then don't even try to kos it'll definitely destroy your skin,so be comfortable just the way you are.

Though naturally light skinned ladies are more attractive than dark skinned ladies, don't let the hypocritical words of men on the internet deceive you, they do the opposite in reality.

That's one thing about some women. They 'hate' dark skin but end up marrying someone with dark skin. Of all people, Mide shouldn't be the one insulting another woman over her skin colour. How can you marry an Afeez in his dark glory and then insult another woman for being dark? Total M A D N E S S.

And you, Habibat, has got a very low self-esteem. No use Mide as excuse. Contemplating bleaching over an insult from a woman with a dark-skin husband and dark-skin kids, only shows that you've never been proud of your skin colour.

In this life, no gree for anybody. If they come after your dark melanin skin, go after their washed-up light skin.
