Average monthly foreign exchange for the first 3 quarters = $3.5 Billion USD monthly

You can see that even before Tinubu took over office, in the first quarter of 2023, Nigeria earned $7.2 Billion USD in that quarter, which is an about $2.4 Billion USD monthly.

you should be comparing it with when he took over and the naira was fast loosing it value and ppl prefer to keep there dollars to see to what extent the naira devaluation will go.my honest view

So what then is the screenshot I posted? Was it wrong information?

That 3.9 Billion dollars for the entire 2023 has also been referenced by various analysts and used to compare just January and February 2024 which they say was altogether 2.3 Billion dollars. With this additional 1.5 Billion in March, we already have 3.8 Billion dollars in just the first quarter 2024.

Why going all the way back to 2019? Why not do yy-yy like a normal statistician and post the graph up here. Economists measure quarter over quarter and yy-yy. They don't go scratching in the dirt looking for one year. What's special about 2019 that makes it apposite for comparison with 2024?

Wrong analogy. If a company CEO takes over a billion dollar company and runs it to the ground within a short period of time which leads to investors losing their money, if the company starts making slow progress, does the CEO start celebrating as the hero (propaganda), or does he shut up and continue working till he gets the company back up to at least where it used to be before he took over?

I think you are the one confused about the data. The data perhaps is just limited to inflow from FPI’s and remittances only excluding other kind of inflows, while your data refers to the total FX inflows which would also include FDI’s and royalties for Government.

The data announced by the CBN which I fact checked was foreign exchange inflow, are you not educated enough to know what foreign exchange inflow means? Neither I nor the CBN mentioned FDI, don't bring that in from nowhere.

This is the foreign inflows for other years dating back to 2019. None is up to 6 Billion dollars and the highest was the 5.3 Billion dollars in 2022. So I think you have to review your understanding of the datasets you are comparing.
