Good morning, who knows how I can get to IDO AJINARE mountain in ekiti from Lagos. As a lady, what do I need to take along. Or let's say who has been there before

Board a vehicle from Lagos going to Ado Ekiti. Tell the driver you will drop in Ido Ajinare junction.

From the junction, take a bike that will drop you in the venue.

Things to bring along is just cash to buy food and few personal effects.

The mountain is divided into 3 parts. The one for general, women only and men only.

There is limited accommodation and people are always around for hot prayers from time to time. Expect to see VIPs you least expect to see in such gathering.

No. I am telling you the right address. I always go to the place for prayers. After Itawure, you get to Ido Ajinare junction ( infact you will see the very large billboard).

In this year alone, I have gone more than 3 times.

From Lagos, you can take ekiti state bus at oshodi( it will cost you 10k)

Though before now , the bus will drop you at Ido Ile junction ( you can take cab/ bike from there straight to the mountain for 1000/2000) which is before ado ekiti( the bus final destination)

But now that the road into the state is bad, they pass another route where you can tell the bus driver to drop you at igede-ekiti just before he gets to his final destination which is ado-ekiti


From igede-ekiti, you can take a cab to Ido Ile junction ( 1200 or 1500) .....then take a bus/ cab to the mountain



I would advise you follow this description as the bus driver sometimes confuse ido-ile ekiti with Ido ekiti

Ido Ile ekiti is before ado-ekiti while Ido ekiti is after ado ekiti


For accommodation, there is free accommodation ( just carry your bags inside the church),,,there are mats there.... you will see other men there too.... You can sleep there

If you want to rent a chalet, I think it's 2000 or 3000 per night and your money finishes 12 am the next day

The maximum number of days you can spend is 7 days.. however if you wish to spend more than that , you have to see the mountain coordinator

It is also called Ido-ajinare mountain
