The South West killed the Southern Senators Forum before but only revived it now cause they don't want their actions to be seen like a fight between the South West against the North, rather a fight by the collective South against Northern intimidation which is just a smokescreen to mask their true intention.
The other Southern senators know this that's why they are somewhat sitting on the fence including senators from Akpabio's own region.

Yorubas never asked you hateful lots for any unity as far as I can remember.

Presidency is basically North to South and vice versa and not geopolitical zone thing. All southern politician are free to contest and that is why you saw Tinubu, Obi and others contested the last election.
North East and North Central have not produced a president in donkey years and nobody is crying in the North.
