If you want to travel from say Akwanga to Jos, you fit travel 500km, you no go see a single town for road. That's not the case with southeast, before you travel 50km in southeast, you must see a town with multiple road networks.

Please make that 5 km. In sharp contrast to the southwest where lack of basic infrastructure, dilapidation reigns supreme as soon as you depart their major “cities”.

That's because South East ordinarily shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 States instead of 5. Niger State is twice the size of the entire South East region. About 8 other States in Nigeria (including Oyo State) are bigger than the South East region
