Stop The Embarrasment by OZIOGU1: 12:42pm On Apr 04
Good morning my fellow NL members,

Sometimes this year, i said to my self that their are those with genuine needs on this forum even though the forum is polluted with fake people with different monikers, i took time to always monitor threads with a tune of seeking help from here, i will comment and ask the person to PM and what ever i could support i will, remember i am not talking of offering millions of Naira in help here, is just a little token which can help for your urgent need, i am a humanitarian and i know what hardship can cause sometimes....

Alhamdulillah, i started in February, i identify some few people here and just to randomly bless them without knowing whether they are real or fake, but i want to believe they are real, my religion forbids passing judgement without evidence, as at the last update i have on my excel sheet, by yesterday 3rd April 2024, i have blessed 15people on this forum, not by my power but, my religious teachings taught me to extend arms to those you believe needs it.

Now my problem is that, this is becoming embarrassing waking up to see messages on my mail and PM, asking for money from some of those i have supported before and even new people, even when i pleaded that pls, i will get back to them, they wont stop....pls guys stop and i have also stop whatever i started, there are people on the street who can also benefit this.....mind you i have screenshot of some of your messages and receipt for all transaction is still on my system before i will be accused of fake story....I beg you guys in the name of God to stop, i started it and i hve decided to end it....This may not be the right place to post it but, hopefully some of you will see it.

It's quite understandable... People tend to push too hard.
However, let not the pressure of these people stop what you feel you're obliged to do.
You can't satisfy the whole world at the same time

First off, may God continue to bless you as you have chosen to bless the less fortunate.

Unfortunately, this is Nigeria, the more you help, the more shameless people are.

My niece graduated last year, I know her parents are struggling as I have occasionally helped through her mum during her time at university.

I sent her graduation money because I was happy for her.

The next thing I know, she asked me money for Christmas, then immediately followed it by sending her back account number when I ignored her text.

She didn't ask for money to start a business or something sensible, it is money for Christmas she asked for.

Back to you, I urge you to ignore the serial beggars, sadly in my experience they won't go away, but not to stop helping others.

You have done no wrong.

Thanks Man, you know the truth is that nobody wishes to beg the other person, but in as much as i you are making effort, sense of entitlement should not come in, but in our context here, they make it look that way.

Humans are insatiable..
Its in their nature...
I have nothing at home, but I'll rather sit and pray than inconvenience a fellow person, besides, who will believe when I say I have nothing to feed on?
