Plumptre was initially invited, but she had to pull out of the team a few days ago due to injury. Chidinma Okeke (who has been away from the team for a while) was called up as her replacement.

Ranking are used to seed teams in male qualifiers and tournament but in female football, they change the rules using excuse of wanting women football to develop across the continent especially in North Africa

For a moment, Chiwendu looked like wan-bissaka . Good one but I have a bad feeling about the second leg. This first leg wasn't impressive at all.

A very poor result considering we have more experienced players across the globe. Bayana- Bayana are African champions; they will throw the kitchen sink at the Falcons in the return leg. The Nigerian spirit and resilience is all we have now and not a better team.

What are you saying, do you know that the coach is not a Nigerian, so why bring tribalism into the selection of the players
