Congrats to the Falcons but this is not enough nau, we suppose nack dem pas dis.

Why didn't they bring Plumptree to shore up the midfield and lay a platform for more goals?

Anyway, good luck to the Falcons in the return leg sha. I myself and backing them to go all the way.

Very poor result. How can a team dominated with igbos perform well.

No federal character in selecting players but rather selection favours only one region.

NFF must sack the coach now as the coach is very bias.

Unless something is done urgently before the 2nd leg to reflect federal character, I pray SA thrashes the ipobic Super Falcons on SA on the 9th April.

The SF must know that it's not yet uhuru as the second leg promises to be a cracker.

The BB are a formidable foe and pose a real threat to our quest to making it to the Tokyo Olympics.

However, if the SF can get their act together, they should be able to prevail over the South Africans in downtown Pretoria.

This is wishing the 9times African champions, the SF, the very best of luck come Tuesday next week.

They get no chance in their second leg in Pretoria next week Tuesday. They supposed to have converted all their chances here.

Congrats S/Falcons.
As the 2 highest ranked teams in Africa, Mumu CAF should have seeded Nigeria & S/Africa to qualify & represent Africa.
Morocco are not push over now. They beat Zambia at their backyard by 2-1. They are formidable female team in Africa now. They are doing well like their male counterpart.

Plumptre was initially invited, but she had to pull out of the team a few days ago due to injury. Chidinma Okeke (who has been away from the team for a while) was called up as her replacement.

Caf is useless and diplomatic with female football

Ranking are used to seed teams in male qualifiers and tournament but in female football, they change the rules using excuse of wanting women football to develop across the continent especially in North Africa

For a moment, Chiwendu looked like wan-bissaka grin. Good one but I have a bad feeling about the second leg. This first leg wasn't impressive at all.

A very poor result considering we have more experienced players across the globe. Bayana- Bayana are African champions; they will throw the kitchen sink at the Falcons in the return leg. The Nigerian spirit and resilience is all we have now and not a better team.
Let's go Falcons!!!

Congrats to the falcons for securing the first leg victory...they just need a draw at SA to seal their qualification!

My concern is the emptiness of the stadium considering the importance of the game!

I was expecting naija feminists to organize and fill up the stadium with mostly women to support their own or is it only on social media that their advocacy starts and ends?

So sad how our football has gone so terribly bad.

I wish our men have achieved a quarter of what these ladies have achieved. Remember while the ladies only two slots in Africa, the boys have 3 and a chance to make it 4 via a Play off.

Is it only Olympic they play? Check AFCON History:
Men: took 3 out of 34 Tournaments
Women: 11 of 14 Tournaments

World cup: Best Results
Men: Round of 16
Women: Quarter Final

Judging by the level of supports these categories receive, the difference is like day and night. These ladies ought to forever celebrated and each of them given National honours

What are you saying, do you know that the coach is not a Nigerian, so why bring tribalism into the selection of the players
