My Neighbour's Dog Defeacating In My Space by JMKO(op): 10:59am On Apr 06, 2024
I live in a gated compound. A neighbour recently moved to one of the flats in the compound. He has a little dog. The dog leaves his flat and comes to defecate at mine (over 60m distance). The dog totally liters my place. From the back of my kitchen to the back of my study.

Steps that I have taken

I have accosted him several times. I have reported the dog to him.
The first day I did that, he said my place was the first place he brought the dog to defecate the first time he came to the compound. I'm like why would you do that?

Anytime I accost him, he will just come clean it up that day, and he won't do anything again after that day.

The issue is that, I don't even want him to be cleaning up my space. I don't want the dog in my area to defecate at all.

I have sprayed lime and pepper there. Yet no results.

I just put camphor on the floor yesterday maybe the smell will chase the dog.

Please what other options can I look into?

Thanks

Some pet owners don't learn. Zero wisdom.
Op, I don't know what to say to you o.
You can spray sniper around the area it usually comes to. Or any other strong insecticide. That should repel it.

Please accommodate, tolerate and endure.
After all you are living with fellow himans beings no one is perfect and no man is an island.
You can use koboko to wipe the dog anytime you sight it, as long as the owner is cleaning the shit no problem.
Please don't poison that dog o or do something harmful.

That's how it starts, the next thing this one will start thinking of how to poison the innocent dog.

Reminds me of the topic...

The one on front page the other day about the guy that poisoned his neighbor's fish pond with sniper.

Pet owners need to be responsible with their animals If they decide to keep one.

Especially if complaints have been made. It's not everyone that like, can stand or can tolerate animals/pets.

You can't be using your animals to inconvenience others!

since you have spoken to Owner more than once and there hasn't been any change, next action is to report to LandLord, or careTaker.

should that fail, next is to catch the dog, very simple, and take it to police station. and leave a statement so the police opens a case file for una.

And when it gets time for resolution, just make it known that the dog would only be bailed if owner promises the dog would never come to your space again.

equally include that should it repeat it's self again, You are free to put said Dog to sleep. The police would do nothing than ask dog Owner if He agrees to your request. and if he says Yes, case closed and He would bail his Dog.

Some times, too much understanding, and minding what people would say, screams weakness.

I support this. Wipe that dog some Koboko. It will think twice before coming there again.
