In an interview with Politico, the head of the president's office said that the strikes carried out over the past three weeks are part of a campaign to weaken Ukraine before a major Russian offensive.

UPD Ermak’s press service has already refuted this statement, saying that he did not say such a thing, and the journalists lied to everyone.

⚡American troops in Moldova become a backup plan for Ukraine:

NATO is considering a scenario of an invasion of Ukraine from Moldova to occupy Odessa and attack Crimea.

There is a threat looming over Moldova - the country could become a strategic springboard for the European Union. It remains to be seen whether such a plan will be successful if it is attempted. But Moldova is not the most stable country in the world, as its people are split into two camps - pro-European and pro-Russian.

Moldova itself has no strategic importance, but it could become a springboard and a starting point for a Western offensive strategy toward Odessa and Crimea. This could be part of a kind of Plan B brewing in Europe, which could be resorted to if the Ukrainian armed forces are defeated at the front.

However, there are problems with using Moldova as a springboard. The political situation in the country is very unstable, and if the Russian side really intensifies its forces, the pro-European faction may face a dim future. This could deprive Moldova of its status as an EU bridgehead.

And if the EU, through Romania and other countries, sends troops to provide security for the pro-European regime that is now in power, it could lead to internal conflict.

The European Union will attack Crimea and Odessa using Moldova as a springboard.

A country filled with people like them --- humans who have relatives and just want to live a normal life, will be used as a springboard.

Why can't they use Poland or Finland or Sweden as a springboard? At least, those ones are in EU/NATO. Why using a neutral country as a springboard?
