Nigerians know the government is criminal. The government is open and bold about being criminal. Nigerians just shrug and accept it. Sad. |

...Nigeria on the float....u don't know anything. People are quick to accord accolades to Tinubu for some of the things that happened in Lagos under his governorship. Now let me give you an insight of what happens as you will see a lot of this happening soon as soon as his administration starts settling down....some new ideas will start coming up and those will be painted as innovative and forward looking with many positive benefits for the populace, with a lot of PR and other public opinion shifting mechanisms as to how those will benefit the people more or in the public interest l, even if these ideas are retrogressive, needless, painful, and meaningless to the people in the face of other public priorities. These ideas are private proposals brought by business entities to make more money at the expense of the populace...but disguised as a public initiative. This will be forced down the throat if the people after the "Oga" and his boys would have incorporated their share of the revenue(%) in percentages....public assets or properties will be converted at an almost free or little cost to the business ventures....money will be made and be shared with little or no benefit to the populace. E.g. ikeja mall, Alpha Betta consulting, BAT diagnostic centre in Lasuth, LCC, Eko Atlantic(chagourys),etc....these were business proposals brought to him under a revenue-sharing formula but disguised as public interest initiatives.
