They are subsidizing everything for you that is what they are doing with all the money. Its easy to call people names because of the parochial mindset you have. Education, Electricity, Healthcare and many more are subsidized by the government, If you think its a lie, ask you relations abroad to tell you how much they pay for these things, then you will understand.
Healthcare how?

How can you subsidize what's not available for all?

Did you compare the minimum wage in those african countries? How many percentage of their salaries will go into power. With over 300% increase in food and other items, minimum wage remains 30k
Shouldnt that bother you?

Paraman:
Why should it be compared to America? Is America now in the African continent?

you talk as if the FG is not working towards increasing the minimum wage

Over a year? When subscidy was removed did FG work towards it?
When naira was floated did they work towards anything. Now electricity tariff is increased, nothing is working towards anything except making inhumane policies and buying 160 million cars/ You will be surprised minimum wage will be increased after 3 years and will be used to campaign for next elections

For any data to be validated, you have to compare it with something. In this case, it will be the Per Capita Income of average Nigerian to all the countries presented here.

I am sure the outcome will be different.

how many of those countries you mentioned have natural gas in abundance as Nigeria?

Neither do they have 1/8 of the population and land mass.

But they make reference to America in every other things, why not continue on that trend in this case?

The people earn and buy in their local currency.

Some people stated in the early part of the thread that these countries are poor and don't have up to half of Nigeria's resources.

I'm just thinking though 🤔 is it that over these long years they haven't discovered some good natural resources God have blessed them with or they simply don't have anything to offer the world?🤔
