That is not a direct answer . We all know that once elections are over , plans start immediately for the next election eg funding terrorists, assassinations and propaganda machines to tilt the next elections in politicians favours .

Obi is not an Igbo or Biafran candidate, he is a Nigerian candidate, the support he has transcends ethnic, regional or primordial sentiment or colouration. So Peter Obi donations to the North is because of what? If not for future elections. Prior to the last election, has he been donating to the North before? Make we dey there dey deceive ourselves.

One thing he is doing right is not being an election politician,like Atiku appears.
Atiku only becomes active during electioneering season.Obi is building bridges across Nigeria and being active.
He maynot win those Northern states,but come election time he would do better than he did last year because more people now know him,more people now appreciate him and starting to believe he has genuine interest in a better Nigeria.
Political calculation wise,Obi too is doing the right things:he knows the North was his hercules heel and is trying to make inroads there.
