The N300k is too small. To get court affidavit for PND is N50k but police may charge you N150k to N250k. There is not much you can do. Even at the police station they will charge you to write statement. I think verydarkman can be of help especially since you said it's an online scam.

Moniepoint seems to shy away from such cases. I have mailed them but they asked me to contact my bank. Why is that?

Why do I have to let me bank contact them when I can stand as a human for myself to state my cause?

Sterling Bank on the other hand said it's a police case so there hands no dey since we both had an agreement that didn't go thru.

So Moniepoint is basically protecting a fraudster by chance and doesn't want to get him exposed.

EFCC is helping me with a case of N12.5meter since 2019 . That is after I had wasted N1meter with police. The guy has been aligned in court . But EFCC is best. Police are just a waste of time.

I paid for some goods he advertised on FB marketplace and I asked our rider to meet up with him b4 I make payment.

I think my rider already called him that he's on his way.

Few hours, Next thing he called me to say rider waas there.

He gave his phone to the rider and the said he was from the logistics company. He even mentioned the company's name - Endurance Logistics in Abuja.

Okay, I called the company to confirm if their rider is at the pickup location but the company number was not responding after like 45mins passed.

The company later called back to say their rider is calling the supplier by he's number is not going.

Before then me I've sent the money already.

I feel so bad because this is 300k I borrowed to start a new business. Now it's gone down the drains.

Date of transaction: 8th April 2024

Can anything be done about it or do I count my L? And move on? I feel so down and angry for not being patient enough with the recommended supplier I have.

SHe was taking hours to respond to calls and messages and I had lots of pending customers.

I need help with tracking the account.

These guys are just wicked. Scamming people In this perilous time. A friend of mine was also scammed of 120k.

if a business deal sounds too good to be true you need to be doubly sure of everything before you release a single Kobo for payment!
