You suppose to fill the sack bags to full height or else the pepper will get stunted as the roots will not have sufficient depth to spread. Get bigger and taller sacks and fill up and transplant all these ones immediately. |

| Re: My Pepper Planting Challenge by RainMoreDFARMS(f): 8:38pm On Sep 20, 2024 |
Xwizard:if the ground you placed the sack was not cemented, they won't die, because the roots will find their way to the ground through the holes on the bottom of the sack. |
| Re: My Pepper Planting Challenge by Munzy14(m): 5:01am On Sep 21, 2024 |
Xwizard:Your errors where too obvious. You clustered the pepper plants, Just one or highest two pepper stands per sack. Again, you will equally need to be topping manure mixed with a good loamy soil when flowers starts. Then again after some constant harvest, you Will top manure again. |

Munzy14:Crops like hot pepper and egg plants cannot be planted in sacks,no matter what you do it will always get root bound, they have very extensive root system,we planted 1200 sacks of pepper last year and learnt the hard way, even at one crop per sack, filled to the brim it doesn't work,it will be healthy and growing well initially but when production starts and the roots kick into overdrive to seek nutrients for the plant that is when the problems will start, sack farm of hot pepper is best for hobbies and ornamental decoration |

| Re: My Pepper Planting Challenge by Munzy14(m): 12:43pm On Sep 21, 2024 |
okoroemeka:Normally, planting anything directly to a well prepared soil is way better than planting it in sack or Containers. But, when your option is left with sack or Containers, you must perforate the under, at a good diameter, to allow excess water drain and as well allow plant with ambitious roots to search for their own nutrient atimes if thier is deficiency in the one you are supplying from top. Generally, sack/container farming is tricky, you must master it, if not it gets better initially, then goes down to zero later. I have a target of doing just 100sacks..Av done 31. Remaining 69. And I am planting at different times..so as to have steady harvest for my family..Then give out some to friends and customers as Christmas package. Pepper will be scarce ones we approach festive seaaons. |
