Not true. There are animals that lions either live in peace with or actively avoid. These include Elephants, Rhinos, and Hippos.

Same fundamental instincts drives most animals to do what they do, humans as well. We're already genetically programmed to be the way we are, not some mythological punishment for abuse of free will. Survival, Self preservation, Reproduction and Fear are basically why we do what we do and act how we act. Its the same down the food chain all the way to the bottom.
