The requirement for this is having a strong portfolio, once you do, search for UI/UX designers on LinkedIn and follow some recruiters, they will post jobs, once you connect with them, you can discuss with them and share your resume directly. I did it for a job.

Nah. I had this post a while ago.

What people do to kickstart their sale is as follows:

They ask a few friends to buy their gigg or offer. Then they build a track record of 5 stars customer relationship with great reviews. then they start winning their own clients and do a fantastic job with them so that they can get more clients.

Others offer free services for a few clients and get great reviews.

Then they get many jobs, and their portfolio increase. At this time it is a snowball effect. You choose one or the other, but you need some reviews where you lose money so that you can get people to buy from you at a later stage.

When you get the reviews and these are detailed reviews, it will not be the price that matters, it will be you as a person that will offer the best ever service and people will want to pay for it good money. I was successful at both strategies, and guess what, most clients kept coming back for more.

Please who's still grinding on Fiverr.

Do you advice one to revamp and old account with over 180 reviews, probably change niche, or create a fresh brand new account.

The possible issues on the old account includes verification because the identity used then for verification is different.

I advise you freelance on Upwork. For some reasons, I prefer Upwork. I was both on Upwork and Fiverr, but one Australian guy I work for on Fiverr spoilt my account, he gave me a bad review which made my Fiverr account to go back in search.

Immediately, I dumped it and switched to Upwork, as God has been faithful since then, as I have worked with quite a number of clients, and they all gave me 5stars and good review. Even this morning, I woke up to a job invite, mehn, I was forced to reply it sharp sharp cos it was a 2000$ work.

I just pray it clicks, omo this December everywhere go stew.

But the bad side now is that to apply for one work on Upwork can cost you up to 19connects, and you're not even sure of the work.

Me no dey buy connects again, Ive relaxed and now waiting for job invites. Spent close to 300$ on connects in the past 4months
