We all saw a picture of how some school children were taken on an excursion yesterday without proper safety measure of life jacket, just this morning i saw this picture on the profile of a teacher i know very well, what baffles me is the face of the innocent children, arrrrh God.... Please guys what is happening in this country? Why do we have little regard for life? Until something happens that is when our attention is drawn into safety but after few days life goes back to normal.... As a father once i hear my children are going on a excursion, i always ask for the full details of everything, the nature of the excursion, the essence, safety measures etc.... If I'm not convinced, i don't allow my children to be a part of it. Let me give you an instance; There was an excursion that my children's school sent to parents in my son's class about taking them for an excursion in a very popular factory in the state we reside, then i called the administrator and i asked alot of questions about the excursion and i realized that even the administrator does not have full knowledge of the factory due to the way she was stammering in answering my questions, then i told her vividly that my son would not be part of it but i paid the money they were asked to pay.

Imagine! She should be arrested and the school closed...

That is selfish. So that she can narrate what happen as eyewitness when the boat capsize.

When you come to water side most boat that transport people to their market none comes with a life jacket.

I've enter such boats countless times without wearing a life jacket... The boats usually carry more than 50 people at once sef 😂

Boat no dey capsize like that oooo...infact roads accident happens more often than water accident. But it's good people are being aware of safety

As much as I don't support the concept of school children going on a boat ride without life jackets, it is important to point out:

1. That the life vest the teacher is wearing is not for children.
2. The teacher wearing life vest will be useful in case of emergency.

ABOVE ALL, WHOEVER AUTHORIZED THAT BOAT RIDE FOR THE CHILDREN WITHOUT ADEQUATE SAFETY MEASURE OUGTH TO BE DECLARED "ENEMY OF THE STATE"!!!

Since she is the only one who can afford for herself and self alone and the government has no proper means of transporting this kids..... it's rational to say she can as well guard her own life, and not be as careless as the rest.

I don't understand, she should remove the jacket for a child because? I still doubt she's not wearing the jacket for picture sake but even at that, as per she should remove it for the kids because the kids life are more precious than her own?

oga I serve in riverline but one thing u should know, those riverine area ppl sabi swim from there kid to old,no follow them ooh them sabi road,me na steady life jacket I de wear ooh

Most ALL Nigerians are hypocrites.

Same people shouting how can you go on a boat without life jackets are still the same people that will not wear seat belts. And even insult road safety for forcing them to wear.
