Dey go! Dey go! You have stayed here enough. Go! Go! Go!

You are not from Lagos, and you have no right to tell others who are not from Lagos to leave.

The fact that you speak the same language as those who come from Lagos doesn't mean you are from Lagos.

Go back to where you emerged from so that Lagos can have peace. You are one of those who cause mayhem in Lagos State.

We see good in Lagos, just as we see good in every part of Nigeria.

You are actually the one who's causing this disaffection with your tribal and ethnic bigotry. Especially when you are not even from Lagos State.

Are they searching for slaves or workers?
There is a reason people run away from their company.

How does working in a steel plant become slavery? If it's as horrible as you make it seem those industries would have packed up. The reason the Aba boy may not prefer it is because it is more difficult and you don't get immediate gratification with money unlike in apprenticeship or trading settings where you immediately start seeing and getting small small change. Many of such eventually quit such apprenticeships for riding okada upandan.

I know that company and believe me the indigents would rather go back to farming instead of the harsh work conditions . I think #800 per day standing for over 12hrs yet deduct anyhow.
Female workers who refuse to sleep with them are not having it easy.

Abia-Based Steel Firm Cries Out Over Labour Shortage.

Managing director of Inner Galaxy Steel Company Ltd, Owaza, Lin Shanbiao has said the company is facing labour shortage, encouraging Abia State youths to apply for engagement.

Shanbiao stated this when he led the management team of the Ukwa West local government-based company on a courtesy visit to the governor, Alex Otti in the capital, Umuahia.

He said the company, which is made up of four conglomerates, is into iron rod production, trailer body parts assembly, automobile battery production, and plastic bottle recycling.

“We’re here to intimate Your Excellency, about our business activities in the state and to explore how to partner in many ways with your administration,” he explained.

Responding, Otti said his policies are geared towards supporting and attracting business Investments in the state to create employment and improve the revenue base.

“It is our policy to support industry. Some of the things we are doing are geared towards supporting existing industries and attracting new ones.”

“We have just set up the state Industrial Innovation Park, Owaza, where you are. If there are some collaborations, we will tell the park managing director to engage with you.”

He charged the company on fair labour practices to attract the support of the administration and allayed its fear of possible clampdown over non-provision of conducive working environment.

maybe they are not paying well.

Don't mind their gross hypocrisy, see how they are shamelessly happy over the coastal highway. Same people complaining about people coming to Lagos are now fighting frantically to link Lagos to other states in the east via the coastal highway. One would have expected the biggest opposition to the highway to come from the west.

The Lagos Benin highway is highway enough why build another highway that will open up opportunities for the same people to come to Lagos. And this they are doing at a very high cost to the economy and businesses in Lagos.

There’s a lot of construction work going on in that State, they’ll have to outsource to an agency to meet quota. That’s how jobs are created, cities developed, a decaying economy revived and wealth is created. With more purchasing power in the hands of the people insecurity is more than halfway solved. To fix Nigeria is not rocket science. But the ojukokoro of our politicians is enough evidence that we’re being led by halfwits and dimwits!
