"The Hadith of Abu Hurariah (Sahih Bukhari 4:55:657) says, “… surely (Jesus), the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind…"

Don't be deceived, Jesus is coming to judge all unrighteousness.

2. The scripture on "Do not assume that I have come to bring peace..."

You should quote the chapter in full to see that Jesus was prophesying about how families and friends would who do not know God would persecute those who give their lives to Christ.

In John 16:2, Jesus said to us:

"In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God."

Look around you, it is already happening today. If you want to test the fulfilment of that prophecy, you can go and tell your Muslim family that you are now s Christian. If they don't behead you, then, you should thank God. You would definitely suffer for becoming a Christian. The peace would leave your family because darkness hates light, and when light shines, darkness is disturbed.

Take Jesus and His cross out of the world today, Boko haram, ISIS, Al-qaeda, and all the terrorists organizations would disappear. Peace is taken because Satan must attack light. There's a constant war being waged by the kingdom of darkness against the kingdom of light. May God open your eyes.

Instead, to understand the content of the dream/vision, you would need to understand what God decreed would happen in the Law of Moses, by the prophets, and that message is where most of the meaning for this dream comes from, including of course the revelation spoken by Jesus Christ in His Gospel particular in Matthew 24 & Mark 13 and Luke 17 & Luke 21. John was not saying something new in his Book of Revelation. He was repeating the same message that the Law and the Prophets had told the people so many times before.

You can look up history to learn who came(past tense) to the fight since the battle in question took place almost 1900 years ago. Read up on it for yourself. Read the Prophets to find out what happened at that time — the last days. Moses, Joel, Jesus Christ, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Daniel too. Jesus Christ revealed in His Gospel that the "fight" would take place in the same generation that His disciples lived in so surely right there you have the best clue of all which is that it took place approximately 1900 years ago - Matthew 24 & Mark 13 & Luke 21. All the prophets listed, including Jesus Christ, all talked about the Last days of God's Judgment, the period recorded in the vision/dreams of John. Look it up for yourself and stop waiting for meaningless interpretations!
