They were supposed to file a court restricting order to stop the army from invading the community.

But because they're greedy, they want money while in exile....

Someone said, the army needed to take diplomatic response to investigate and arrest the culprit, rather than using force.

Because, if an army man kills a civilian, they will ask the family of the slain civilian to give them time to investigate. Why can't they do the same? Rather than attacking whole community.

It is one of the orders sought for. So you should have read more

Nigerians and wickedness are indeed like Siamese twins. The military went into their community to destroy lives and properties. The people decided to invoke their constitutional right to be compensated for all of the abuse they had to endure and here you are calling for worse to happen to them. What evil minds you people have. And the same you will come telling us you love Nigeria. Nonsense! undecided

Nonsense! The people are taking the right action. Every other community that have had their peace disturbed, properties, and lives destroyed by the presence of military personal should follow suit. undecided
stop being dillusional, you mean a suit that their next 4 generation will still be going for attendance. Like i said Biafra will solve this issue. Might be the only solution

I'll advise they go and settle as a refugee elsewhere. Till they produce those criminals they hired to brutally murder those soldiers first. Infact they're lucky this is Democracy else that entire village would have become an army barracks in remembrance of the departed.

And that is your business because? Biafra is a delusion and solves nothing but creating an avenue for currently disenfranchised looters to get their own opportunity to the loot. The same wickedness continued. Open your eyes! lipsrsealed

Interesting! So the innocent lives in the community are responsible for what happened and so deserve to have their lives trampled upon. I hope when the same happens to your own family and relations, you accept the same verdict.. lipsrsealed

Nope... Evidence is not the issue.

Corruption is the issue.

Nigerian Judiciary is the most corrupt and rotten in the world.

So the innocent military men are not humans and hence deserved to die in the most horrible way, or is it because that they are military and hence have no soul, body and spirit, and don't have family that depends on them. I don't understand your sense of reasoning.

Who will root out the corruption from where it is in the judicial system if people refuse to expose it via actions such as these. If these people get nothing and the reason given is unbalanced then we at least know the names of corrupt personal that needs to be tossed out, and they can appeal their case after those have been removed. undecided

So, innocent military men kill innocent lives and destroy properties of innocent lives all in the name of protecting the innocent? The kids and even old folks destroyed were evil criminals? Rather, than a proper investigation in to how lives and properties were destroyed in the process of restoring security, you would rather that the soldiers who went into the community armed to destroy be painted innocent from the get go? You folks are indeed wicked. undecided

Provide us with reference to parts of Nigerian law that allows the military to go in and disturb the peace, property and lives of citizens without recourse please. Name we see! undecided
this will be the second time that I'm tagging you, if you still don't get my point then I will leave you to your fate. no law allows the military to disturb the peace, property and lives of a people. an individual or a group can sue the army, but, but it is very hard. Based on decades of claims, civilians are unlikely to gain any relief when service members violate their constitutional rights. are you telling me the Nigerian Army will compensate the Okuama community? this was and still the question I asked you first, before you start using question to answer question.

I will leave you here cos peace of mind is far better than human perfection

1. So there is no law meaning that invading civilian space as they did is not right by law. undecided

2. So, because something didn't work yesterday, we should all together abandon the hopes of trying to get it to work today? undecided

Because these people's rights have been trampled upon by their government for many decades, they should altogether abandon the idea of fighting for it?

Nigerians, you people wicked no be small. If your family , blood relatives and properties had been in the line of this destruction, I can bet my last dollar that you wouldn't be here condemning this action. undecided

I don't know how we reason sometimes, so if it in the north, Army would have done the same thing they did in Delta state. Hypocrisy is when 2 persons commit the same crime while one is being beaten mercilessly while the other person is being tapped at back

The Army already invaded, killed people and destroyed properties. I believe it is too late to file for restraining order. It is good that they are asking the Court to hold the Army responsible for their actions.
