Digitron:Smart school is least of our problems in this state, why not make the existing schools smart instead of waisting money to construct new schools, For example there are about 10 government owned primary schools in my ward and none has up to 100 pupils as most parents send their wards to private schools , why not convert one of the schools to smart school ? As for water, I put it to you that the work done so far is less than 50% l don't see some parts of Nike getting water even in the next two years. 4 Likes |

Objectivist04: The idea is that one smart school will take up the entire population of the 10 poor schools that are existing now. That way, you have a mega school with infrastructure comparable to anywhwere in the world. 2 Likes |

Objectivist04:Sometimes it's hard to retrofit things if the original is fundamentally flawed. But yeah, I also have reservations about constructing new schools when the existing ones have not been properly equipped 2 Likes |

Digitron:We are still saying the same thing, I am not against the Smart school but what l am against is waisting our scarce resources while there are many existing schools with no pupil, a particular secondary primary school has more infrastructure than most secondary schools, so why not use such for the ward by just carrying out minor renovation (since Ugwuanyi renovated most of the schools ) and equip them . Peter Obi revolutionized primary and secondary education in Anambra without building a single school from the scratch. What he did was to upgrade what he met on ground by way of renovation, equipment and coming up with relevant policies . For me Smart school and new enugu city are the most useless projects of this Mba administration . 3 Likes |

oilykid: The airport project is true, but I don't think it's state government project, then the icc is also true but the rate of work there is very slow and may drag on till his tenure elapse if they continue this way, The smart school project had only come to fruition in his home community in Nkanu east, if you have idea where else they have built it and the primary health care centre name it let go and verify, the modern security center I don't have any idea about it, please where's located? The logistics hub and modern bus terminal is still a paper work, nothing have been done in the proposed sites. 2 Likes |

Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Goldensword: 3:45pm On Apr 20 |
Objectivist04: Exactly, under Sullivan he equipped the existing government schools and even gave them buses to help in running their day to day activities, under gburugburu, he built additional blocks to all the schools in enugu and equipped it with smart chairs, Peter MBA ought to have continued in same vein by building more blocks and equipping all the schools with needed materials to make them smart school's because all the government owned schools have large expanse of land to contain any kind of building, instead of embarking on a whole new school building projects, even in primary healthcare sectors, gburugburu built so many primary and secondary health centers, Peter MBA should have just make provision to equipped them for effective delivery of services instead of starting a new one's which he may not finish before his tenure elapse, his advisers are not doing him any good at all, words on the street now about his administration is not good at all. 2 Likes |

Goldensword: Mba is just a man that loves grandiose projects. He wants to be seen as a 'unique politician' because he thinks himself a technocrat which is highly fallacious. Mba has gone on to prove that is not just like the average Nigerian politician but a worse one at that. 2 Likes |

christejames:For me the opposition did all they could in the last election, just that the electoral body and court shortchanged them Do you think that the victory in Abia state iwas due to just opposition vigilance ? If not for a credible returning officer that supervised that election, PDP would have snatched it and the court would have affirmed it. You can't imagine Nkanu East that is the least populated LG in Enugu state polling the highest votes . A God fearing RO would have cancelled Nkanu East votes instantly just like Prof OTI did to Ngwa LGA 2 Likes |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: That's what gburugburu did and he succeeded, which led to the suspension of the then APC state chairman, Ben Nwoye and many big wigs like Ken Nnamani, Sullivan Chime, Geoffrey Onyeama and others, by the current APC chairman, and trust me peter mba doesn't have the charisma to infiltrate and influence the current leadership of APC now. 2 Likes |

Objectivist04: Hope you saw the news headlines that njeze former ambassador and minister of federal republic of Nigeria is now APC member, even Chukwuka Utazi former senator, these guys are seeing something others are not seeing bro, 2027 is not far anymore, let wait and watch. |
Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by OkpaNsukkaisBae(m): 8:29pm On Apr 20 |
Goldensword: What's the electoral value of these guys you mentioned? They're expired politicians. Utazi achieved nothing after 8good years in the redđź”´ chamber representing Enugu North. He does not command any following. APC made so much noise in Anambra during their gubernatorial election even with the defection of the then incumbent deputy governor, Nkem Okeke. They failed. APC is not going anywhere in Enugu. Maybe APGA OR LABOUR PARTY. 1 Like |
