DMerciful: If Nigéria is restructured and there's 100% resource control, ND states will be richer than the FG. This is the biggest fear of the proponents of one Nigeria. Those states will be so rich to set up and finance a rebel group that can help them break away from this pseudo-union. Nigeria is a sick country; this is a fact everyone knows. As it is, no single tribe can pull out of the union because others will call for your head. Sadly, ND states pay the price of keeping the country one. 3 Likes |

Pedyson: That premise may have held true in the late 60s and early 70s! That was when they had their own Araba secessionist plans! But today, their desire for ‘one Nigeria’ owes to more than just oyel and gas, and if said hydrocarbons finish today, and you think you can tell them ‘oya, bye-bye….oyel don finish….make una come dey go’, they will just draw dagger or cock their AK47 for you and tell you they’re going nowhere, that you’re stuck with them forever and so had better get used to having them around! 1 Like |

Re: NNPC Begins Oil Production In Madu Field by SoNature(m): 6:04pm On Apr 20 |
Pedyson: That's not entirely true. Northern Nigeria loves this country and genuinely wants to see her progress. An average Northerner is a farmer who doesn't care about your crude oil. Only their leaders and rich ones care about oil and gas money. Because they are mostly farmers, that's partly why they marry many wives to help cultivate their large arable lands. Unfortunately, given the way the people are wired to do everything their leaders say, the people will fight to keep one Nigeria. The people are puns in the hands of their leaders who manipulate them to achieve their political ambitions. With promises of food and money embellished with religious beliefs, the people do whatever the leaders want. This is something Sanusi is trying to stop, but he cannot win that fight. You need to interact more with educated Fulani and Hausa people; they will help you understand how their people think. 2 Likes |

Olaide1295: Oya access the water directly from Sokoto State, Nigeria is a fraud, The same water you are saying belongs to Nigeria, if the country divides, who do you think will have access to the water, I guess is Kano or Sokoto , Or who is dragging the deserts in the north with you ppl, if the deserts have oil, you will see illegal explorers in the north , Nigeria that is gone to the pigs 1 Like |
