fareed69:At the end, the fuel better be of high quality, for the benefit of your car engine. Fuel costs money to make. You people better wake up to that. |

Alaigbo:I don't recalll abusing you in my reply to you. We are talking about a refinery about failing to fulfil TAM on Nigeria own refineries for good 16 they were in power. Note - They met all 3 Nigeria refineries in working condition n ruined every single one before they left office n you are here talking about a private Dangote Refinery. We could have had more if subsidy had gone in 2012, or even 1993. All our government refineries working plus lots of private refineries at the modular, and macro level. Dangote won't be the only name in the game. The problem with subsides is people like to make money, and when that is stifled in the name of subsidy, palaver starts. You sure say ogun no wan kill your papa abi have you gone mad ?![/quote]Well, I still believe that the only way to have working refineries is to have them operate at a profit. That is why government needs to remove subsides totally. Even if it means fuel costs 1000 or more in the initial period |

Saao:Bro these APC supporters are so senseless that I feel it's waste of time replying to their comments. How much was petrol, dollar, gas, USD on may 29 when Buhari handed over compared to what it is today? The government is paying x3 of what buhari paid as subsidy yet we the citizens are also paying x3 to buy petrol yet some daft people will tell you to rejoice because the price is "crashing" Common sense is not common after all |

In essence PDP left Nigeria refineries to rot while billing the country bill in TAM yearly for the same refineries n their polices was neither here or there as Obasanjo de privatize Yardua de revoke the privatization. You are right you got my point above clearly. PDP was the devil that ruined Nigeria 3 refineries n couldn't fix it back till Tinubu did anonimi: |

anonimi:At the expense of our forex reserves being drained and us not saving money. That fuel should have cost over N130 at the time. PDP Keeping subsides prevented investment in the refining sector. GEJ should have told Tinubu and Buhari to sit down, and removed subsides in 2012 and left things at N140 per liter. Sure we would have suffered, but we would have had more than just Dangote refinery going up, and NNPC would have been working for its money instead of loooting under subsidy . |

Alaigbo:PDP unwisely decided to keep subsides, just as your side is keeping subsides on fuel, preventing more and more investment in things like more modular and mega refineries apart from dangote, and bua. Keep in mind that subsidy is popular among Nigerians. Since both you and pdp want to be in power, you went for maintaining them |

PressMyButton:The senate didn’t communicate the message well. I think the 60,000bpd refinery is what is about to start while the complete refinery with a total capacity of 210,000bpd all together is what most likely would be completed before December. |

anonimi:It isn't tinubu propaganda. See, APC did what PDP did,...kept and is keeping subsidy. Especially in the power sector, has it improved.? Meanwhile, Obasanjo...your party man, let the GSM sector operate without subsidy, despite the fact that it was so expensive at the start, and despite the fact that people grumbled about MTN ripping us off. Result, today even poor people own phones. And can make calls abroad. Something that David Mark thought was impossible in the 1980's when he made his 'Phones are for the rich' comment. You want refineries galore...subsidy has to go, so that huge profits can be made and reinvested in more refineries. If that is tinubu propaganda, either you cannot see the benefits of a free market, and you also cannot see that Tinubu is still paying subsidy to the tune of billions of naira per month, and you also believe Obasanjo is a tinubu supporter in secret... Must everyone who disagrees with you be a tinubu supporter? Haba! |

Paraman:Useless lies from the pit of hell, Ikwerre is Igbo, and Igbo is Ikwerre, Ikwerre can't fight Igbos. It's just like saying Ebonyi or Enugu or Anambra state is fighting Igbos, you're just so f*olish, your f*olishness is now so obvious, congratulations. Mind you that lagos is still a no man's land, take note of that.

nairalanda1:If you are not a Tinubu worshipper, then why are you telling lies and spreading misinformation about fuel subsidies that he continues to pay and deplete the foreign reserves to subsidise and defend our Naira for the benefit of his cronies and fellow rogues ![]() When, where and how did people grumble about MTN ripping us off 24 years ago? |

Paraman:Lol! And who are the poto poto people? If not that tribalistic animal syndrome has damaged your mental capacity of cognitive reasoning, coordination and soundness of mind, you should have known Ikwerres are a subgroup of the " poto poto people" as you stupidly tag Igbos. A monkey has more sense of reasoning, coordination and cognitive reasoning than you. Even domestic fowls are better many times than Igbophobic rabid animals like you, because a local fowl with its kin will never discriminate against Broilers,Layers, Plymouth Rock breeds of chickens. Bottom line is: Animals are a billion times better than many on this forum and beyond. Oga, go and have sense and prove that you are better and more sophisticated than an animal and has dominion over them. |
