inoki247:Nothing is wrong with your batteries. That batteries usable voltage ranges from 12.7 to 11.9v |

dacool1:So don't need to change anything cause the setup was done for someone and I noticed from the full bar in the evening once it gets dark 2bar disappears from the charge controller... And the guy who install the system said everything is okay I don't need to worry.. I just want to be sure so the battery doesn't get spoil soon or anything..... |

jonescosmos:Weldone but are you sure all these appliances can be powered concurrently on a 8kw Deye though? 8 units of 1.5hp and heater alone seem to exceed 8kw already unless you were sure that they all won't be powered concurrently otherwise you may need another Deye in parallel |

Na wa o. This is the new goldmine o! People will definitely pay good money for stable and clean electricity. Imagine owning like 6 blocks of 3 bedroom and powering it up with MW of PV, that's good money to be made but pocket go shake small. Obnoxious2001: |

Hello house. I’m trying to make a decision on which inverter to get between Deye and felicity. Which is more durable. |

Buchika:60A CC with 1400w panel on a 12V system is a waste of resources. with these loads, you need at least a 2000w panel, switch the batteries to 24V 105ah use 80A controller or 48V 50Ah LFP to maintain the 60A controller Hybrid Inverter would have been a better choice. My recommendation for this kind of load is 24V 2KW Hybrid with 80A MPPT, 2000watts panel to use during the day also to recharge, 24V, 210Ah LFP to power night loads |

twinskenny:These three products have similar efficiency/capacity ratings. Blue carbon might be a bit better, though I have not heard much reviews on it. |

Not resolved yet. Planning to get an MPPT CC inoki247: |

Solarco guys are really nice people. Wanted getting another set of 5 panels from them and because they didn't have stock in Lagos he offered free shipping from Abuja to Lagos and also offered to compensate me something for fuel to move them from the park to my house. The panels were already cheaper than Jinko from Fouani. After some discussions with him he advised I go with the Jinko 625W that they are also great panels rather than trying to talk down on the product so as to buy from them. jonescosmos: |

Dam5reey:Budget wise, don't you think changing the 60a CC to 80a CC can give him better performance? If I'm working on 12v system, the max inverter capacity I go for is 1.5kw. Anything above this capacity will move me to 24v system. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Ferdiwar: 12:00pm On Apr 21, 2024 |
Please can you confirm if the 5kw has the smart load function as I can't seem to figure it out. jonescosmos: |

You can get them from Solarco (Abuja) or Xtra power (Lagos). mctfopt: |

Personally I'll go with the Felicity as they have more reviews than the other two. twinskenny: |

leTrizzle:8am to 6pm daily except in periods of bad weather, changed my panels to 2 435w jinko solar panels and so far their performance has been exceptional |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Penuelseun(m): 12:28pm On Apr 21, 2024 |
Buchika:1400w solar panels on a 60a charge controller at 12v is a waste as the controller will only be able to take about 800w from the panels thereby discarding the rest, your best bet is to go for 24v system and opt for 120a 24v lifepo4 battery |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Dam5reey(m): 12:30pm On Apr 21, 2024 |
isangjohnson:I recommended the 80A for 24V system as this is CC only. |
