Does that really mean we don't have indigenous construction 🚧 companies in Nigeria that can handle good road construction projects?

Must the Chinese do everything for us in this 21 century?

It is not as if these Chinese companies do good quality job anyway..
Since the project was financed by Chinese bank through loan it's them that will still give you the contractor

David Mark did well for his people.

I remember when he and GEJ started this project together with the Loko - Iweko bridge
.

David Mark did nothing.

Only pot holes were patched, the Aliede Otupko Oboloafor axis of the road was always unpassable, during the Mark era, I remember questions that cross my mind, each time I passed through that road.

Abeg, hope it includes the windy roads of Akwanga... I experienced the worst accident of my life on that road... Road was just curving like Enugu roads, but tinier

The should just toll the road and hand over to the private sector for maintenance especially the drainage n the aesthetic part of the road

This was started by Buhari. They put Toll gates at certain strategic locations. I believe they are to recoup some of their Money for the Next 10 Years.. The work is Beautiful and done by a Chinese Firm..

Nigeria should be exporting agricultural products massively to African countries and the world but it's a pity.

I'm telling you my brother. A full scale cultivation of that land will help our food demand.
Nigeria is too blessed. Imagine if government spend just 200 billion naira to cultivate grain on some of those lands. We won't be here talking about food security

Agbadorians. Please help me confirm the following:
Pls how many tollgates did they biuld on the 220km road?

If 770km is projected to have 9 toll plazas, then 220km should at least have atlrast 3 toll plazas
Na by force to follow coastal line? Those that want to pay the toll will follow the road simple.

Did you read the part where it was said that it was co-founded. Why is the superhighway been built already has a mechanism to recoup investments? I mean the tollgates! Let's be factual, building quality infrastructure doesn't come cheap and if you intend to build good and fast, you will need heavy funding which Nigeria doesn't have now!

Tollgate is the new viral song now right?. One slowpoke will bring up a stupid narration other zombedients will grab at it. Idiots comparing a 6 lane 700 klm superhighway with Railway worth Trillions of naira to a mere dual carriage way. Well I won't blame you since the useless Agulu Gbajue master pressed your mumu button this morning. You just opened your smelly Akpu filled mouth waah while your brain is on shutdown mode or hibernating. Mumu. Go and put tollgate there now.

Once you are ready for a large scale farming, you will also be ready to mount security around. That land needs large scale farming on it.

.

It's Chinese monies that funds such projects, hence they handle the construction and still toll as a way of recovering their investment.

I saw someone wrote...see land for farming...you are so right...in the UK, you will see so many ranches along the train routes...same with Scotland, Ireland and so on....what is wrong with us? Food should be super cheap in Nigeria.

According to Gbajue Peter Obi, this is a misplaced priority

Highly disappointed in that statement from Obi !!

With the coastal road , we will travel from Ibeju Lekki to Victoria Island in less than 30Minutes.

Lagos to PH within 5 hours, most people will not waste money to fly again and more money from businesses.
