-How much does it take to create a grey's virtual card & what is the validity?

-How is the funding done, can you fund from your bank account straight or does it have to be done through crypo method?

-Any other charges i need to know of?

-Hope the registration process is easy, maybe just BVN & NIN stuff

I'm currently using Klasha but their rate is always high, i want a better easy as well alternative

Those grey people na wereh. I've downloaded the app for weeks now and I'm stuck trying to upload an ID, and the stupid app keeps telling me "no face found", despite my face being very clear on the IDs. I've tried voters card and NIN slip and it says the same thing. I've tried with different sources of light and get the same thing. I tried taking the picture from a scanned copy on my laptop and the idiot say "screen detected. It can detect a screen but can not detect my clear face on the cards. I just abandoned it and went back to my klasha.

I think I paid $5 for the card creation, not sure how much they charge currently.. as for the validity, my card is valid till 2026.

The registration is straightforward, although I remember I had some issues during registration and uploading some documents, but I spoke with their customer service and they validated everything for me after I sent them the documents directly.

It was Klasha I abandoned for Grey, they terminated my current card and started charging ridiculous maintenance fees for their new cards.

After registration they will issue you a Nigerian Bank account, that is how you will fund your card.. after sending money to the account number you are issued it will reflect on your dashboard, and from there you can casually convert your naira to dollars and top up your card 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

If you are having issues uploading or verifying documents on Grey try chatting their customer service, I am sure they will sort it out.

° Brodaman, 1. Grey only accepts digital NIN, go and download the NIN app and pay for the digital downloadable national ID, it will work.
2. Card creation fee is $4 + $1 withholding balance with them, it is a MasterCard and expires after 3 years or so and card is processed instantly.
3. Grey charge 1% of funding or something like that but there's a cap for more than some $$, funding is easy and instant
4. They will give you a wema bank account for the naira platform, just fund it, go to your card and convert to dollars, don't convert to your dollar account cuz you might not be able to withdraw the extra changes eg .46cents. learnt my lesson. °

providus bank na werey...they hide their rates, till you call them on phone, dem go tell you their today rate, very crude and yeye way of doing things
