Can I apply for Irish visa for barbing skills as work visa pls |
| Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Ashirioluwa: 4:07am On Mar 05, 2024 |
Emmylamba:All you need to do is go check the Critical Skills Occupation List to see if Barber is included in the list, and then you can start from there. |

Good afternoon, please I want to make an inquiry here, will be happy if someone can help me throw more light , please , I have applied for Irish Visa before in dec 2023 and I was granted though is a tourist visa but I could not go to Ireland due to flu and fever and the application takes 2 weeks as I have visited UK like 12 times last year when I applied for the Irish visa . So comes 2024, I applied for the tourist visa again to spend my Easter break 2024 in Ireland as I explain in my new application reason why I do not use the first Irish visa granted as a result of fever and flu. I have submitted since February 2024, and is now passed a month now and I have not heard from the embassy as my travel dates is less than 72 hours and until now I have not receive any decision as I have valid 2 years UK visa and I have visited Britain 2 times between January and February, 2024. Imagine the travel dates pass, can still they issue the visa from experience, though am still expecting pick up message from them today or tomorrow if God wishes, please I need advice , |

Soraco57:The Irish Embassy used the FIFO method in their visa processing. It takes about 3 months to process, and it's first come, first served. You can't fast-track, and it has been like that for years. You can as well check their weekly decisions to see. |

Ashirioluwa:Can you shed more light on this issue? A friend told me Irish work Visa can't be applied for outside the country, that one needs to visit Ireland first and then apply after getting a job. Is it true Sir? |
| Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Ashirioluwa: 6:52pm On Apr 24, 2024 |
Drickstore:That’s not correct. You have to look for a job while you’re still here in Nigeria. After getting the job, you can go ahead and apply for a work visa. https://enterprise.gov.ie/en/what-we-do/workplace-and-skills/employment-permits/employment-permit-eligibility/highly-skilled-eligible-occupations-list/ |

Ashirioluwa:Why always Nigerians Wetin Nigerians do these countries. 2k plus asylum seeker is not even a lot. So decision will be made just in 3months, if not approve, deportation order is next..omo |
| Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Ashirioluwa: 11:40pm On Apr 24, 2024 |
oluayebenz:The issue is deeper than that. They have accommodation issues, and most of the applicants waited for over 6 months before they could get a bed space in those buildings where they housed the asylum seekers. Also, Nigerians are abusing it because most of those seeking asylum in Ireland are those who followed school routes to the UK. They crossed to Ireland because they couldn’t meet up with the tuition. |

Hi guys, please a close friend of mine was recently denied of his Irish spousal visa. The Visa Officer said he did not establish concrete evidence of relationship with his spouse in Ireland before applying for the visa. He put some pictures during the application yet was denied. What can he do to help his appeal to be successful? |

Gurus in the house please I need your advice, my wife and son want to apply for visit visa for summer holiday in Dublin. My wife and son will be spending the holiday with her sister who works and lives in Dublin, she will be responsible for their accommodation and everything in Dublin. 1. What is the process and what documents will be required? 2. Can she process by herself or she has to engage the service of an agent? |
| Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Ashirioluwa: 7:00pm On Apr 18, 2025 |
epidi:You don't need an agent to process any visa. Go to the embassy website and read available information about visitor visas. https://www.ireland.ie/en/nigeria/abuja/services/visas/visas-for-ireland/ All information needed is on the website. Apply way in advance because the processing time can sometimes take up to 3 months. https://www.irishimmigration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Required-documents-Short-Stay-C-Visa.-faq.pdf https://www.irishimmigration.ie/ |

Is the embassy of Ireland not accepting visitor visa applications because I registered a VFS account, but I still can't book an appointment? Below is the message I receive each time I try to book an appointment: "We are sorry, but no appointment slots are currently available. Please try again later." |
