The organising secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Abia State chapter, Chief Obinna Atuonu, has reportedly died.

The Nation Newspaper reports that he passed away while speaking to a congregation during a church service in Aba.

A family source told The Nation that the brother of the deceased, Dr. Chiedozie Atuonu, received an urgent call to travel from Umuahia to Aba.

He was said to have received a call informing him that his brother was in critical condition and urgently required his presence.

Chiedozie arrived to find his sibling in a critical condition. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he passed away.

The source revealed that the body of the late APC organising secretary has been taken to the mortuary.
