So this is deal with English and some of their funny spellings: Those words have their origin from another language, so it comes with different rules of spellings.

it's pronounced as O-U-T,
but some people do pronounce it as A-T which is not right.

It is pronounced as hou se but without se as in hout. Diphthong /àụ/ plus consonant/t/. /àụt/
