Obi deserves every bashing he got from the author of this article. He called Obi a “minimalist” incapable of “grand visioning.” In simple English, Obi is unfit to be President! LOL.
We have seen how buhari and Tinubu who are fit to be president presided over the affairs of the ZOO. BINGOS said that he built Lagos and London including Paris but the ZOO is going down the drain under his watch. You are not opposition, let your work do the talking. The ZOO has been handed over to you and since getting to one year the only thing you have succeeded doing is attacking Obi. Is the ZOO better that what it was when your darling daddy Buhari took over after he left office? Is the ZOO better than when Bobo Chicago took over? Answer those questions and crawl back to your hole. Shameless BINGOS everywhere.

Oh yes, he did invest 30 Million dollars into the business in which he has a financial interest. That in itself is a crime, Obi is a fraud and a criminal.
Secondly, the investment has not lived up to its potential as stated by the current Governor of the state.
Why will you invest even a kobo into a brewery while your state is under the threat of gully erosion, dilapidated schools, bad roads, no public water, and many more critical needed infrastructures?

Why will you even invest a kobo into beer beer-making venture instead of these other critical projects?

Pls tell us how much was invested, olodo.
Obi investment was cash given to banks for interest

U obviously don't know jack about what you are talking about

A lot of idiots have access to microphone in Nigeria. This writer has not been to a beach before.

There are more that 100 businesses that offer products and services in a moderate beach without any investment interest not to talk of 200 million dollars investment.

When a company of these size goes down, a lot of other smaller businesses that offers complimentary businesses and services go down.

The smaller businesses may have 5 to 10 employees but when you multiply it by the number of such businesses, you will understand the after effect of such businesses going down.

Oops...this one is forming a concerned citizen. 😬

Why not focus on Anambra Hero 🍺🍻🍻

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi, took to his verified Twitter handle to lampoon the Federal Government for continuing the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.

In his tweets, he rued the economic and job losses, asking the government to focus on maintaining existing highways instead of engaging in non-essential projects

.

grin this is really sounding more interesting, see the misfit obirodents want to force down our throat grin ever since he started criticising the road project I knew this man was visionless. Thank God for asiwaju vision for Lagos, for those that knows the stretch of the former bar beach from Ahmadu bello way in those days, when the ocean almost took over the entire Victoria island, Asiwaju in it vision save that entire stretch and today we have one of the most developed estate, the Eko Atlantic taking shape and there won’t be landmark beach today, but today this gbajue master and his I’ll educated mob are over the internet space giving stupid reasons why a development that would bring about progress to the entire nation should not be developed just because they lost an election grin indeed Nigerian dodge more than a bullet

He knew Obi very well and succinctly delivered a well tailored rebuttal to Obi’s complaints. One of the best articles I’ve read in recent times.
Why wouldn't it be one of the best for a bingo like you after all Obi is mentioned. This article will be listed as one of the achievements of Tinubu after one year.

Rubbish reply. The east west road connects lagos and all Niger Delta states. The new costal Road does the same except it has railways. Now common sense dictates you complete the east west road before embarking on a new road. The east west road is not completed, the portion done are in bad shape yet you start a new road

Remind us about the east west road in the next 8 years. cheesy

Meanwhile, let us focus on the work at hand...the coastal highway 😉

This is a brutal upper cut. I am sure obi will weep reading this reply.

We await Reno, Bwala and others upper cut.

Those advising obi are too dull. No matter what obi says or does, he can never rule Nigeria.

Come 2027, many vibrant and younger aspirants will emerge and obi popularity will fade away.

At the moment the noise of obedients is making obi assume he has lots of chances come 2027.

The North will never allow anyone takeover from the present govt cos that will be suicidal for the North come 2031 which is their turn.

Obi should go and rest abeg
Igbos will never rule.. ba

2nd niger bridge is a feel good projects, practically have zero economic value

With 400 billion I would pipe gas to very town in South East, boasting industrialization and electrification

And note it would pay back it's project cost in less then 15 years

That is how u grow an economy

People should start asking Peter Obi the whereabouts of his wife. He never goes out with her when he attends weddings, burials, church programmes etc. He has never praised her as a support pillar. It is all about himself and himself. He only showcases her during select campaign rallies for political gain. The woman may be disgusted with his poor dress sense, lying tongue and bad fatherhood that saw him raise a homosexual as son.

Is it true PO son is gay?

You are clueless as to how investment works. Obi has never denied investing money into the Brewery. If Obi did not invest in HERO Beer Brewery, how come the State of Anambra has substantial ownership of the business? How did Anambra become a major shareholder in the Hero beer company? Who invested Anmbra money into the business for the State to have substantial ownership in the company?
There is a video of LP chairman back then complaining that Obi invested the state money into HERO beer.

This is the same way you guys claimed he built schools even after Obi himself said that he did not.

You are obviously clueless about what you are talking about or just lying like Pandora pathological lair Obi.

Firstly obi never invest 30 million dollars into brewery

But if you call international brewery today in Nigeria's a failed projects then you know nothing

Yes shares in the nigerian stock exchange hace falled drastically since APC came to power

But the company outlook is fantastic

Yes yes I know the above flew right above you sha

Sometimes it's better to be quiet and be considered a fool, this response is too lame.

The outlook alone is shameful, a governor buying shares in a brewery lol!

Come on, I am ashame to type it, I mean sometimes I still expect PO to deny it, it's too shameful.

In civilised world, we refer to it as money laundering, yeah, when you can't steal money from government then you desired to buy worthless shares.

Now you talk about exchange rate, do you know what 30 million dollars means, do you even know how exchange rates works?

You can't buy shoes, bags, soap, rice, beans, drinks all in dollars and expect a miracle, this is the repercussions of those years of wasteful spending, importation, money laundering and all bad decisions the previous government and PO if I must add brought upon Nigerians.

A controversy arose in August 2013 about the issue of shares to Next International a company owned by the Anambra state governor Peter Obi.[4] It is also reported that he invested 2 billion Naira of the state money for a 10% stake in the brewery.

From 2012
premiumtimesng .com/news/98281-anambra-governor-peter-obi-in-brewery-ownership-scandal.html?tztc=1

Statement from Anambra State GOVERNMENT. They will know more than you -

Given the repeated fake news about the current dollar value of the investment by the Peter Obi administration in SABMiller, it has become imperative to clarify the matter in public interest.

The Peter Obi Administration invested the sum of N1,955,535,247.00 (equivalent of approximately US$12,616,356.43 at the then average CBN exchange rate of N155.00/$1.00) in Intafact Beverages Limited, a green-field brewery being set up in Onitsha by SABMiller Breweries of South Africa in 2012. The Naira equivalent of this investment is stated and carried in the Reports of the State Accountant General with the Financial Statements for the fiscal years ended 31st December since then. These are public documents.

According to Ifeatu Onejeme, Commissioner of Finance, Intafact Beverages was subsequently consolidated into International Breweries Plc when the parent company, SABMiller of South Africa was acquired by Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the world’s largest brewer. Based on this development, AB InBev consolidated and merged all its brewery operations in Nigeria under International Breweries Plc and all shareholders of Intafact Beverages Limited, including Anambra State Government (ANSG), received shares of International Breweries Plc for their respective investments.

ANSG received and still holds 407,321,264 ordinary shares of International Breweries Plc in exchange for its investment in Intafact Beverages Limited . Based on the NGX closing price of N5.50 as at 20/6/22, these shares were valued at N2,240,266,952 on that date. Based on the Central Bank of Nigeria I&E exchange rate of N415.75/US$1.00 on same June 20, 2022, this investment was valued at an equivalent of approximately US$5,388,495.37 (and at N604/$1.00 parallel market rate, only US$3,709,051.24).

We do not want to join issues with the purveyors of the fake news but only need to state the facts to inform the public.
