Imagine a Nigerian disobeying Court orders in South Africa
Do even the president obey Court orders?
Even those in judiciary don't obey the Court
A Federal High Court in Abia can overule the verdict of another Federal High Court in Osun
That's the kind of madness we see in Nigeria
And they can still hire shameless lunatics like Reno and FFK to defend the madness and some will support once it favors their Tribe, Party and Religion.
oga, multi choice get bills to pay, how much is sachet water?

There is no pure Capitalism anywhere in the world ... if human were left unchecked, we shall exterminate one another ....

Government has every right to regulate her society including business environment... any company that doesn't find it comforting should port to another country or simply comply!

Fine, but not in a non-essential service such as cable TV.

Court order is not the one paying their bills and salaries. And Why should they obey court order when the Nigerian government did not obey economy order.

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do"
When in Nigeria, do as the Nigerians do"

Nigerians do not obey court orders, Multichoice are following our lead.

Why will u take them to court?
On what grounds?
Why will even a court entertain such applications?
The solution to force them to adjust their prices downwards is to apply airpeace method.
Bring competition, better services, cheaper services and see how fast they lose customers and then they will eventually bring down their price.
They are foreign companies na that's bent on exploiting us.

They are a foreign company and they have to repatriate their funds. Their prices are reviewed with FX rate in mind because FX is what they remit to their headquarters. They also pay for TV rights in FX too.

I am sure you guys are seeing how almost every company is posting huge loses because of our useless currency. How can multichoice afford to pay millions of dollars to EPL and UCL if they are collecting worthless naira.

A stable economy births steady prices. If naira was stable, then the government should hold no reservation in dealing with them. For now, the government has no moral justification to tell them what to do.

The business is also open to anyone who can afford TV right money. The person can invest, charge Nigerians lower and chase multichoice out. As a matter of fact, anyone who can offer pay as you watch has already chased multichoice out of our country.
No mind them, as if na govt go tell them price to set.

I blame them and I do not blame them again... First it is the stupid greedy Nigeria government I blame first because of the commission you get on all Nigeria using it u people have failed to develop our own... We have aspiring broadcasting cooperation but your greed and Hate for Nigerians made them collapse... U collapsed HiTv.. Now how do you expect them to fiance their maintemce services when u cannot guarantee light... They use generator to power their offices in Nigeria and transmitters... Okay... On another note I have told Dstv to introduce pay as you go they did not answer.... God punish all the leaders in our country
Rulers not leaders. I hate it when we call these monsters leaders.
