Economic Importance Of Lagos Calabar Coastal High Way by Biodun556(op): 4:44pm On May 01, 2024
1. The road will connect all the 7 ports in Nigeria together

2. The road will serve as alternative to lagos-ibadan expreway.

3. All major cities in South West and South South will be connected together.

4. The 700 kilometer road is not entirely new as there many federal roads within it so it served as way of repairing the bad federal roads

5. The coastal road will have rail, this will assist the new refineries to easily move their products.

You are stating the economic importance without knowing the direction of this road. Poorly tutored agbadorian.

Now show me where this road project will pass through in Rivers State and name the location.

Make sure you don't run away from my question.

I am glad of the economic prospect of the road to the South-West and South-South people.

Especially that Ondo state axis.

Its just a normal road, no special economic prospect esp if it will be tolled.

This road will not be completed in 25yrs and you know it.

What the country needs now is a fully functional deep sea ports in Niger delta, with a fully functional electricity grid and rail link linking niger delta ports to the north, any other thing is not priority.

Lagos Benin expressway and east west road is highway enough.

You can aswell build a highway connecting all the major airports since you don't have anything to do with your time

Your ignorance is what made you to believe that fraudulent map.

The shorelines in Rivers State and Bayelsa state including Delta is not same as Lagos state.

Because the criminals wanted to steal in trillions with this project, they never told you that coastal areas in the aforementioned States are peoples ancestral homes. It is not exactly what you have in Lagos state.

Are you going to uproot those people from their swampy villages with mangrove forests and creeks because of coastal highway?

Travel and see, that is part of education.
Since you have failed to name the locations where this fraudulent road will pass through, then begin to think now and ask Thièfnubu your criminally minded uncle serious questions about this project. grin grin

Similar benefits of roads include:

(1) Open up rural areas to industrialization by connecting rural areas to urban centers.
(2) Reducing commuting time for travellers.
(3) Enhancing the economies of local communities through job creation and trade.
(4) Enhancing cultural cocktails and boosting tourism potentials.
(5) Revenue generation through tolls in the long term.
(6) Reducing people's expenses. If I can drive to my office in Lagos in one hour and live somewhere accommodation is cheaper.

AuschwitzPrefec:
That's why they are against it.

They want the SS underdeveloped so that their future land grabbing will be easy.

The highway is seen as bypassing their Dot and encircling it making a future biafra a " Dot in the circle " if I can borrow from that llama Buhari.

They hate this project for reasons deeper than you can comprehend and it's all tied to their future land grabbing.

A developed and economically viable and integrated SS can not and will never ever fall for Biafra gimmicks.

This is the reason they are bitterly complaining about and against the project .
Shikena:
It is not passing through Onitsha, Agulu, Nnewi or Aba.
Ezewuzie01:
If Igbos clamoured hard for second Niger Bridge and got it, I don't see why sadists like Peter Obi, who should be the last person to talk about road infrastructure given his much publicised delivery of substandard roads in Anambra that were washed away in less than six months, should be criticizing a game changer like Lagos Calabar coastal road.

It is really annoying when we keep warning you guys about disasters that can be avoided while you guys keep supporting those disasters which then affects the whole country...

We warned you guys about Buhari

We warned you guys about Tinubu

We warned you guys about his policies

See where Nigeria is today....

Now we are warning you guys about this project....

Do you guys ever learn?
