Congratulations ma/sir. I have my IELTS by May and i've been preparing to enter the entry pool immediately, made my wes processes and police report. But at the same time, i want to also go the route of PNP, any advice on how to go about it? Any fees? And how to know the exact province based on my career, i'm a data scientist.
i'll appreciate. Congrats once again

I'm searching for the same information. I have no concrete answers.

Hi everyone,

I want to take a course at the British Computer Society (BCS) to supplement my bachelor's degree for the Express Entry application. If anyone has undergone a similar process, successfully gained acceptance from WES, and used it for their Express Entry application, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

Thank you.

You're on the right path. The Certificate in IT level 4 is acceptable and give a 1yr Canadian degree equivalent. (When evaluated with WES)

Added to your Bsc, you get a two more or certificate.

If you are into tech, then you have an advantage, just enter the pool.

A province can nominate you, Ontario usually do Tech draw.
Alberta also.

Most times...you will get no records found if you've made a mistake with the tracking ID/DOB...please try it again. But if its a PR appli cation..it may take more than a week to get another update. ...

The 1st time I got an email saying my passport is ready for collection and I went to VFS...I was told to wait for an SMS that the passport wasn't ready...The SMS came in the next business day and it was actually ready for collection...no appointment needed...just walk in and pick up with ur documents.

We are in the same ship.

Need help on how the PNP works Biko?

You will require extra levels of patience for PNP

Pre PNP
1. Wes evaluation
2. Ielts (L8 S7 R7 W7)
3. Proof of funds account showing salary payment(14k cad)
4. Work Reference Letter
5. Tax Clearance
6. Have a relative who's a PR
PNP
1. Create an EOI account maxing out all points
2. Wait till you get LAA
3. Submit all documents including birth attestation showing your relationship with your relative (you usually have 60 days)
4. Wait for atleast 6 months

This is for Manitoba

Hello everyone, hope everyone is steady progressing on their Canadian dream.

There's no way I could let this day go by without coming back here to share my joy. The journey that started in 2019 has finally come to an AMAZING end. Today I became a Canadian citizen and the feeling is soo surreal. I can't believe it even though I knew that was the end goal but experiencing it is a completely different feeling.

I'm pretty sure most of my set are no longer here but I thought to report back after I embarked on this journey. Yes, I'm over the moon but I really came here to thank everyone for keeping this thread going for several years and counting. The resources and help gotten from this thread are immeasurable.

For all those still going through this process I wish you the very best and may your journey be as smooth or even smoother than mine. THANK YOU!!!
...See one of the seniors that year!

Can't forget this name and Newmum...@newmum.... wondering where she is now.God bless you both.

Congratulations to you.

Hope Canada is treating you well o.

I beg which side for Canada you dey?

You will see a lot of videos on it, I download and watch offline.
Get your pen and paper ready.

Good news.

Received my COPR last week

Timeline:
Decided on the EE pathway June/July 2023
IELTS: August 23 (Band 8.5)
Applied for EE - Sept 23. CRS score 460 ish
Ontario PNP - Sept 23 (Didn't finally use it)
ITA - Oct 23 - Healthcare Occupations Draw
PR application submission- Dec 23
Biometrics and Medicals - Feb 24
Final approval- Mar 24
Visa in Hand - Apr 24

This would be my second japa after the initial japa to UK. Hoping is goes even better than the first which has been fantastic.

Wasn't a follower of this thread until recently. I wonder if there is a 'Nigerians in Canada' thread like the UK thread
