So u want us to list the European and American stars that rose from their league too...I mean same version of NPFL in their country? And never played in the under 17 world cup

I want to paint a picture of the kind of talents that grace the U17. It is a big affair and very difficult. It is one tournament that makes me believe in the strength of our talents. When we do it right like in the time of Maigari we rule. That does not mean it is easy. The tournament attracts the best young talents at U17 level.

I don't think Germany has won it. That is how tough it is.

The issue here is U17 bigger than NPFL? not houses or kind of prizes.Do you say England U17 or U20 WC winning team is bigger than EPL winner, and funny you are bringing European league winners parade as your point.

Pls who are the world stars from U17?okay Osimhen,Chuckwueze,Iheanacho,Awoniyi,Nwakalis,Uzoho…

NPFL star Amunike gave us Afcon 94

NPFL Amunike scored the winning goal Atlanta 96

NPFL Sunday Mba gave Afcon 2013

NPFL Rashidi Yekini scored Nigeria first WC goal

NPFL Ahmed Musa scored 4 WC goals

NPFL Richard Owubokiri won Europe highest goal scorer

NPFL Enyeama clean sheets record in French league

NPFL Finidi,Kanu and Mikel won Champions league

NPFL Yekini,Kanu,Amunike and Ikpeba won APOTY.

Nice one.

Let me just make this contribution. It is not in line with Amuneke or no Amuneke Argument o. grin Just to let us know the stars that played in the FIFA U17 2009 World Cup hosted in Nigeria:

1. Kenneth Omeruo - Nigeria
2. Shkodram Mustafi - Germany
3. Mario Gotze - Germany
4. Bernd Leno - Germany
5. Emiliano Martinez - Argentina
6. Allison Becker - Brazil
7. Phillippe Countinho - Brazil
8. Neymer - Brazil
9. Carlos Casimero - Brazil
10. Ben Khalifa -Switzerland
11. Granit Xhaka - Switzerland
12. Ricardo Rodrigues - Switzerland
13. Bertrand Traore - Burkina Faso
14. Joel Campbel - Costa Rica
15. Koke - Spain
16. Isco - Spain
17. Alvaro Morata - Spain
18. Pablo Sarabia - Spain
19. Sergio Reberto - Spain
20. Son Heung-min - South Korea
21. Stephen El Shaarawy - Italy
22. Matia Perin - Italy

These are some of the graduates from an U17 tournament. I made reference to this year because they all played on Nigerian soil in 2009. grin

You are being one sided.

TheGoodJoe is a gentleman most times and you will not see gutter language and vitriolic rhetoric coming from him.

However, TheSuperDelusional one is completely different his over inflated ego and style of consistent abuse to anybody who doesn't agree with him his there for all to see.

Abuse and lies should not be served here continuously by some.

Sugarboy is not exonerated but you cannot be accusing somebody of abuse and denigration in isolation. And then pretend others are saints.

That's selective and biased and far from fair, bad 😔 behaviour, abuse and gutter language should be condemned irrespective of who does it.

Do we know who is taking over Liverpool? I think Klopp is going. That should come first before a move decision.

So I think if Osimhen's team considers the move, they can wait for his announcement, study his philosophy and especially how he uses his strikers before jumping in.

This move is a critical one for Osimhen because he will be playing in his prime.

The argument presented by TheGoodjoe lacks merit and appears to be made for the sake of argument rather than acknowledging the flaws in his argument. Continuously spamming this page with baseless arguments, despite knowing he is wrong, diminishes his credibility. It's important to recognize that nobody can be right all the time.

This situation reflects a broader issue in Nigeria, where individuals often defend their caucus without acknowledging any wrongdoing. We seem to make exceptions for those we favor, which hinders progress.

It's notable that no under-17 coach has advanced to coach their country's National team. This begs the question: why? Yes! the under-17 World Cup holds significant international status, surpassing national competitions. Yet, why have no under-17 winning coaches succeeded at the Senior World Cup or in their country's league? In contrast, league champions coaches often progress to succeed at the senior national team level.

Therefore, the comparison should focus on the achievements of under-17 coaches versus league winners' coaches, rather than comparing players. TheGoodjoe's consistent attempt to be overly clever may harm his reputation here.

Is it not intriguing that Manu Garba faced criticism for his under-17 coaching appointment, despite winning the same under-17 World Cup, mainly from those advocating for Amuneke's appointment as the National team coach. lol!
As Falz aptly puts it, "We are all hypocrites."

I like his style of play and looks a solid choice. However, in recent times, Dutch passing master coaches have hit brick walls and can't seem to transcend their philosophy to other leagues.

Good examples have been Ten Hag, Peter Bosz and Frank De Boer.

Arne Slot seems a gamble for me and one that seems also a gamble move if Osimhen is going there. If he does not flourish, Osimhen gets trapped if the next manager does not like him.

However, if it works out well, then Osimhen can score a huge historic win. If Arne is somewhere behind asking for Osimhen, then I feel Osimhen should take the move but keep the contract short to three years. Just because of his offensive playing poetry will bring the best from Osimhen.

But, the deal should happen after Arne signs for Liverpool. Ironic that one of Klopp's assistant, Pep Ljinders is Dutch too. Maybe there is already communication going on.

Would be lovely to see him play for the Reds
Their fans are really passionate and they would love him
I doubt Liverpool would pay up to what PSG are offering though
So for me, I think he would either remain in Italy or go to PSG
I don't think the interest from Liverpool is strong anyway

This move to me is the best one for Osimhen, playing for a big club without much pressure. Plus he is quite familiar with the French league.

Moving to the EPL, especially for a huge amount, will constantly put him under the microscope. As good as Haaland is, he has come under heavy criticism of late.

Osimhen will not be spared by the English press and analyst if he moves to the EPL particularly with his penchant t for missing easy chances.

Yeah a big concern
A section of the British media are already labelling Slot as Liverpool's own Ten Hag..
So yeah, the dutch coach issues are well documented
But this Slot guy strikes me as a different breed
Though I don't see him winning the league as long as Pep remains in England
But this is football,

For the uptenth time. Finidi George is the new coach of Nigeria. We have to understand that each of us has a reason to either say that he is either the right man for the job or not. Many here say that he ain't corrupt and not on his tactical ability. Many here who criticised him after the friendlies are at the moment rooting for him to get it right. While some that didn't critic him then are not rooting for him based on what they have analysed afterwards. Bye and large. It doesn't matter if you are for Paul or if you are for Appolos. SE is our team. Taunting and insulting someone because he feels Amuneke is better equipped for the job makes no sense in anyway one looks at it. It's his opinion and it will not remove finidi from the post. I'm happy that NFF has given him the privilege to get his assistants. So it's left for Mr George to prove the doubters like my humble self wrong. Not being corrupt can only help him to pick players who are in good form but it has no bearing in picking the correct player for the job, because the correct man might be in Zanzibar. It will not help him in applying the right tactics and during game time substitutions to alter the play. In essence, if he is not sound, and doesn't have balls of steel, we all will see it. The buck stops at his table.
We can banter, but not insults. Tankio
